An absolutely delightful tea to be enjoyed at any time of the day. The ginger is warming as well as great for your immune system. A staple for the colder months for sure - I just wish a box of 20 tea bags wasn't so pricey, but I do appreciate where this tea is grown and the cost covering the rejuvenation of land on Jeju island.

This tea arrives in a box of 20 bags in individually wrapped sachets. It works out at about 50p a cup which isn't the cheapest herbal style tea, but isn't by any means super expensive.Immediately I was struck by the ginger and cinnamon aroma. This is strong and well rounded.These are the nicer style of tea bag with a string and tag that you can wrap around the handle to make them easier to remove after brewing.The bag produced a slightly darker brew than I was expecting, but there is no bitterness or overpowering bergamot style flavour. Certainly none of the astringency I associate with Earl Grey or Lady Grey. The combination of the ginger and the citrus is smooth and reminded me of the smell of freshly dug earth. Very nice.

The teabags smell like a gloriously rich ginger cake - very inviting. The brewed tea, however, smells and tastes of ginger. It's quite a mild taste - unless you forget about the tea for a while, as the strength of the brew keeps growing, and the warm tea has a very strong taste of ginger, which came as a bit of a jolt, though wasn't unpleasant. This is a very refreshing drink; there is the usual list of claimed health benefits, but it's a pleasant brew whether or not the claims have any foundation. I used water at 90 degrees, which gave a satisfactory result. A welcome discovery.

As soon as I opened the individually packed teabag, the strong smell of tangerine hit me.Once infused there was a nice warming tingle of ginger and a slight hint of tangerine flavour.Not as strong as I expected given the first impression of the smell, however a nice flavoured green tea.

The combination of ginger and tangerine was a new one to me, and I think it really works. Retaining the unique ginger flavour while giving it a fresher, sweeter citrus twist is a good move, and combines to give a flavour that feels quite new, to me at least. However…Unfortunately, it’s one of those teas which is more about the scent than the flavour that follows. The scent when you’re brewing it is lovely, but even though it has quite a strong colour to it (that looks more like a green tea than the turmeric colour of many gingers), even after a reasonably long brew time, the flavour ends up both a bit mild and a bit muddy. I was hoping for a cleaner, stronger taste, especially from a tea that only has two ingredients in it.The quality of the teabags also leaves a little bit to be desired. Each teabag is individually bagged and tagged, and I’ve already had one of the drawstrings break on me, and one of the other teabags burst on me while in the mug, spilling its leaves all through the mug and leaving me reaching for the metal filter to fix it. The presentation looks fine, but it seems the teabags simply aren’t strong enough.Then there’s the price. Ten quid for twenty teabags, at time of writing, is too steep. For that, I could buy twenty ginger teabags and twenty citrus teabags and mix them together myself to make forty brews, and still have funds left over. I appreciate that young-gyui tangerine is a very specific ingredient, but I don’t think it would be too hard to substitute in the orange flavour into a ginger tea some other way- maybe even with a couple of slices of tangerine of course!So between the breaking teabags, the high price and the flavour that doesn’t live up to the scent, I have to give these teabags three stars despite the fact they’ve introduced me to a flavour combination that I’m definitely going to try again- but probably not from this brand.

This is a lovely refreshing tea from Korea. It has a mild green tea base, with a strong zingy taste of ginger. Unfortunately I don’t taste much tangerine, which is a shame as the Jeju oranges used in this tea are a strong selling point. It is still very enjoyable tea, and each bag comes individually wrapped with instructions printed on.

This tea has an interesting mix of flavours, even though the ginger is the strongest flavour. It is a refreshing drink that tastes best when it has cooled a little. It comes boxed and in individual packets with each bag having a string attached for easy removal from the cup when desired. This is a great tea to drink in the evenings, and I would add honey to it if I was suffering from a cold or sore throat.

This review is for Osulloc Ginger Young-Gtul tea.Take this review with a pinch of ground ginger.Joking aside, I really enjoy ginger and have high tolerance for it so this review might be a bit bias.This tea has pleasant smell of tangerine and strong taste of ginger with a hint of lemongrass.Every sipped start with somewhat sweet sensation of oranges but quickly followed by the punch of ginger.I drink my tea straight but I can see adding some honey to give it sweeter taste and getting the extra benefit from it.Definitely a tea that suited for colder months.This tea is USDA certified as organic.

This is an interesting ginger tea blend. It comes in individually-wrapped tea bags. I steep this in nearly boiling water for about 5 minutes. It has a robust gingery flavor with citrusy notes. The green tea base is smooth and mellow. The ginger is strong and forward. Overall, I enjoy this tea. It is warm and spicy. Great to drink in the cold weather. Certified organic. Made in Korea.
