Took me more like 10-12 hours, not the 6 suggested, but this is my first time doing anything even remotely like this. So I chalk it up to that, rather than anything else. It was a really unique and enjoyable project. If you like building models, or doing puzzles, or especially both, this feels like a very cool combo of the two hobbies.The instructions were clear and detailed, and the pieces were fairly easy to remove using the little tool provided. As far as assembly, all the pieces clicked together perfectly. The boards were thicker than I expected, so it didn't feel flimsy. Also, another neat thing, it gives you two options for making the clock work. A little USB plug-in box, or a little battery-operated box.A couple of complaints. I do wish they had provided a slightly bigger piece of sandpaper, but I just used a nail file I had. The little screw driver also didn't quite fit for some of the screws, so I used my own, but this might be an issue if someone didn't have alternative screw drivers to fall back on.But in spite of these couple of things, I think the quality, the colours, the detail, so many moving parts like the wheel, and shutter, the light, the cuckoo, it all makes up for it.

what an adorable adorable kit , i built this along with my 10 year old daughters the minute it arrived and took approx 5 hours to complete ,The kit went together so easily and every piece is painted and the whole kit is pure genius and a delight to watchAll off the parts simply fell out off the sheets and the manual is step by step with clear photographs making assembly a pleasure and great funOnce completed your left with a delightfull battery powered cookoo clock which actually works on the hour and upto yet its kept perfect timeevery piece is perfectly cut and all accesories for the battery powered mechanism is off very high quality it really is a delightfull clock which will give pleasure for years to comeVERY HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Das aufgebaute Häuschen erinnert stark an Walt Disney's Verfilmung von Alice im Wunderland, samt Kaninchen und Spielkartensymbolen. Obwohl der Schwierigkeitsgrad als mittel angegeben ist und ich noch beflügelt von einem ersten Erfolg beim Modellbau bin, bin ich mir unsicher, ob ich dieses Werk nun werde vollenden können. Nach Studium der Aufbauanleitung – immerhin über 30 Seiten – ist mir klargeworden, daß man nicht nur das Häuschen aufbaut, sondern auch die Verdrahtung für die Elektrik und dergleichen mehr selbst zuwegebringen muß. Aus dem Video oder der Produktbeschreibung geht dieses meines Erachtens nicht hervor. Trotzdem möchte ich den Aufbau demnächst wagen, mir ist es einerlei, ob ich nun die veranschlagten 8 oder auch 88 Stunden dafür brauche, hauptsache, ich schaffe es überhaupt.Die Ausführung der Teile scheint, soweit ich es bis jetzt gesehen habe, sehr schön und angenehm dezent in der Farbgebung; die Holzteile müssen nur einfach zur rechten Zeit aus ihren gestanzten Platten gedrückt werden. Das Numerierungssystem der sonstigen Teile ist einigermaßen verzwickt, wenn auch logisch aufgebaut. Den innewohnenden Vogel kann man sogar selbst bemalen. Klebstoff ist nicht dabei, anscheinend soll es auch ohne gehen. Ersatzteile liegen ebenfalls bei, falls mal etwas zerbricht. Ich bin gespannt und ergänze die Bewertung später noch ein Update.
