Works perfectly with Freeview in the UK from inside the house on the window sill, plug and play, no picture break up or sound clipping, the high quality solid copper core cable is long enough to reach the window from the other side of my room, itâs just what I needed, much cheaper than getting an tv antenna guy out to put up a new one!The built in amplifier has 2 settings for either short range or long range, mine gets all the channels using short range although you will need a 5v USB socket on the back of your TV to power it or a standard phone charger will probably work too.

I had already written a review for this on the day I got, as I was so pleased with it, but Iâm still happy to do it againâŠ..BRILLIANT!!The problem I had before I discovered this fabulous product was the fixed aerial socket was too far from the T.V. and could not hold a sharp signal!!This does, is speedy and sits atop the bookcase beside the T.V never having to be adjusted or having someone to hold it above their head pointing south, or north, or east or west!Buy it!

I am based in south west London and moved into a property with no aerial on the roof and bought one of these as the âplug inâ aerialI had was rather large/unsightly and about 15 years old. It works great and I havenât found a channel yet that it doesnât give a perfect picture for including the HD ones. I have placed it on a nearby windowsill, it has a long cable so reaches with ease but means I donât have to move it at all. Was so happy with my purchase that I bought another for a TV upstairs.

Donât usually leave reviews but this is excellent. Bought another one for another tv I have thatâs not connected to a cable box. Much smaller than expected too so didnât hold out much hope when I saw the size of it. Tried it on both tvs and perfect, 140+ tv channels and all work perfectly

Based in Southeast UK...Appearance:Item matches picture. one thing to note is in the product photo is shows an F-Connector, and not a standard Aerial connection... don't fear - there is a screw on aerial connector that's easy to fit on the f-connector.Also included in the pack were different coloured bands (Aqua colour), so you could replace the gold bands shown in the photo if you felt the need.Ease of installation:Simple - just screw the base and aerial together (don't forget the take the red cape off the base), screw in the aerial adaptor, and plug in. It really is that simple.Function:**This is why I dropped it a star.**In our front bedroom, channel scan found 68 channels - way more than any other indoor indoor aerial we've tried has managed - good crisp quality on all channel reception as well.In our rear bedroom, channel scan found 0 channels - the same as every other indoor aerial we've tried.Both locations were on the window sill - it's not large, so doesn't look out of place on there.So my advice would be... take a look at the houses around you, and where their external aerials are pointing. If your window is looking out to in the same direction as they're pointing, this will probably do the job.If the window is looking the opposite way, you may find you'll struggle to get a decent enough reception to work properly.Also worth noting - on the small box attached to the usb and aerial cable - there's a switch to go from short range, to long range... so worth trying on each when tuning in, to get optimal channel coverage.
