I bought the 89 × 43 cm Nordik desk mat for my open‑plan office, and it’s one of those simple upgrades that makes the whole workspace feel curated rather than cobbled together.What I likeFits everything without feeling cramped. At 89 cm wide it swallows a full‑size keyboard, mouse and notebook, leaving a clean buffer either side so nothing teeters off the edge when I type.Premium feel straight out of the box. The mat arrived rolled inside tissue and a sturdy tube—zero creases. The marled felt is dense and smooth, more like a high‑end wool blend than the thin craft‑felt some mats use.Quiet and protective. Keystrokes and coffee mugs land with a soft thud instead of a clack, and the underside’s anti‑skid dots keep it pinned even when I yank the mouse across.Naturally minimalist aesthetic. The muted grey hides dust and crumbs between cleaning sessions and blends with both wood‑grain and white desks.Not waterproof. It shrugs off the odd splash, but a full mug spill will soak in—best to keep coasters handy.VerdictIf you want a one‑piece surface that organises your kit, dampens noise and looks intentionally stylish, the Nordik mat nails it. Looks great and feels great. But unfortunately my mouse performance isn’t good on the mat and I will have to return. I’m disappointed because this is a very nice mat! I did read some of the reviews saying it was itchy but I found the material soft and comfortable. Also very well packaged.

Replaced an old leather mat and opted for the felt one instead. It seems good value for money and a good size. The mat itself has a nice feeling and is nice when resting against. Quality seems good and was nice and flat after a few hours. Not as stain proof as leather but still easy enough to clean.

This large felt mat feels like pretty good quality and looks very good on my desk. Big and spacious for any keyboard/mouse combo plus any coasters etc. It was not cheap but the quality is good. I bought the charcoal coloured one and it does look very nice.
Far Better Than My Expensive Grovemade Mat—Outstanding Quality and Value!
I really like this Nordik Large Felt Desk Mat. I previously bought a Grovemade desk mat for almost $100, and honestly, I felt robbed after getting this one. The Nordik mat costs only $26 but feels just as premium—actually, even better in my opinion.The material feels fantastic, the colors look great, and it's clear they thought carefully about the small details. My favorite touch is the non-slip liner underneath, made of tiny rubber droplets, that keeps the mat perfectly in place. These little details matter.My only wish is that they offered a slightly narrower size. The length is perfect, but something around 14 inches deep instead of 17 would be ideal for narrower desks like mine.Overall, I'm genuinely impressed. It's rare that a product feels this good and remains so reasonably priced and highly recommended!

The felt feels soft, I love the small little design touches and it's a decent thickness too. Packaged up nicely too with an overall premium feel and service.
Very nice looking, good thickness and doesn't make skin itching
In the past I have had felt desk mat before but for some reason it would always irritate my skin. Surprisingly this one doesn't do it. The size is pretty good, I can fit my keyboard, mouse, and my cup of tea on my on top of it which is great.Only one thing to notice is the smell that it releases in the first few hours after opening, it smell quite strong, like chemicals, but he smell goes alway in the first day.So final thought I would strongly recommend this one if you are looking for a felt matt and specially if you are someone who have had experience with skin irritation in the past with other felt mats.
