Bought for stroke patient who was struggling with dysphagia. Used it to a degree before returning to trying to speak.Brilliant item,would highly recommend especially as you can change the voice and record your own messages.

Have got this for a non verbal person to help communicate with his niece and nephews. The buttons are small but brightly coloured and the voices are not bad. It is a bit plastic looking which makes it look cheap, but it’s a great device to help non verbal people communicate. It’s also a great little device to aid smaller children to speak.

Help my autistic son with communication
Very practical and handy device to communicate!
If you are wondering, you should buy it! We even took it to the Mayo Clinic and our speech therapist was impressed by how handy and affordable it was. It has helped my nonverbal 3 year old be able to communicate with us consistently for the first time! They took to it right away. It is easy to record, the buttons do require a direct push but it’s actually great for us because it’s intentional use and it’s super light weight. We love how we don’t have to charge it like a iPad because it’s batteries. We own multiple iPad as aac talkers that were way pricey, hard to get and too complicated to use. This is just the right amount to start. We are so happy to have this device that we bought two more for preschool use!

An affordable AAC option compared to the traditional types. This is great for traveling or running errands. No need to worry about broken or lost iPads. My son responded well to it and it’s easy to use. Also gives you the option to customize it. Great quality and seems durable!

I highly recommend this device for individuals with communication challenges. I purchased it for my neighbor who had a stroke, and it greatly improved his ability to express his needs. The devices customizable options, voice output, and ease of use, made it an invaluable tool for his recovery, strengthening his hand and adding his memory. It’s versatility also makes it suitable for a young children who struggle to articulate their wants.
Didn't work for us
Hard to push buttons. Wording is not the way we say it. No way to change it. My child showed no interest in it.
