My old desk chair broke, so I came on Bolo to find a replacement, and boy did I find a replacement. I wasn't looking for the cheapest option, but as it happened I found this chair for £37.99 and the reviews were positive, so I thought I would give it a try. It arrived a day early and the box was undamaged, which was a surprise as it was very heavy, and when I opened it and started to unpack it I found a very good quality chair inside. Everything was so thick and heavy and well made, solid plastic parts and heavy metal components. The manual was very easy to follow and all the screws were sealed and marked in a plastic and card container with a hex key. It has adjustable back support, neck rest and arms, all in solid plastic, and the whole back of the seat is connected to the metal mechanism which operates the seat angles and height, which is stronger and more stable than screwing to the wood seat base. All in all I am well satisfied with the chair, although I have only had it for a few hours, so time will tell if it will last. Thanks.

Arrive quick, well packaged, easy to assemble (20min)Feel good quality and sturdy. Cushion is soft and comfortable. A lot adjustment to make it fit for anyone..Size is big for me (5′ 3″), with my feet cannot put on the floor flat, even at lowest position. But my other half (5′7″) like it.Only thing is the fabric cover seems not hard-waring type.... but at this price, very good value for money

Perfect and comfortable chair. Easy to assemble totally worth the money you pay.Only two negative points:1: The wheels are not rolling freely and it's annoying whenever you need to move your chair.2: the lowest position of the seat is medium of other standard chairs.

Excellent chair for the price! Assembly was a little tricky with the back and base connection, at first it looks like it won’t fit, but pro tip: don’t tighten the screws all the way down at first, squeeze the back cushion inward, adjust the screws while holding in position and it’s good to go! Sturdy and good looking. Metal base not cheap plastic! 💯 % recommend and would buy again.
Decent chair, head rest too low, lumbar support has pressure points, chair emits some odor
This chair offers a pretty good value for the money. It is reasonably comfortable and solid. It has foldable and padded arm rests. It tilts back nicely. Mine, so far, doesn't squeak or creak or anything.One big complaint I have is the low maximum height of the head rest. For me, it is far too low and has an overly small adjustment range. I am not super-tall (just under 6 feet), nor do I have an unusually long torso, but the head rest, at maximum height, touches my upper back. I have to scoot my butt far forward to lean back and have the head rest come anywhere close to comfortably supporting my neck/head. I found, however, that it is possible to pop out the square cover opposite to and on the front side of the adjustment button to access a screw that, once removed, allows the sliding stem of the head rest to come out. You can then put the screw and washer and cover back and reinsert the stem of the headrest into the slot and it then sits higher, though it is a bit wobbly. I put an object in there to prop it even higher and to pin it more tightly and finally, the rest is at a comfortable and usable height. Overall, I had to raise it just over two inches to get it high enough for me. If you are tall, and the head rest matters to you, unless you want to modify it like I did, you might want to consider another chair!The chair does have some chemical odor. Mostly, it smells like nylon, mainly from the back mesh. The odor much resembles the way a climbing rope smells, just in case that might be familiar to you. The odor is moderate, I'd say, not overpowering, but quite noticeable. It makes the room it is in smell like it. I left it out on the porch in warm weather for a few days and it still smells. We'll see if it decreases as it ages.The lumbar support plastic part that sits behind the mesh is rather poorly designed. The way it is shaped, with a wide elliptical hole in the middle, it creates pressure points along the top and bottom edge of that ellipse and also at the ends. It is rather uncomfortable. I ended up stuffing a folded, soft cloth between the lumbar thing and the mesh to make it more comfortable.The seat padding isn't super-deep, but so far, seems adequate for my purposes.Overall, not too bad for a chair costing less than $100.
