This is quite a size of fan, I don't think I was expecting it to look as dominating as it does. However, I have got it for an open plan kitchen and living area so it works very well to cool down a large sized area. The base is quite large, presumably to make sure it stays sturdy when the fan is oscillating. It would be quite bulky if you plan to move it from room to room a lot, but it will stay in one position in our home so I don't mind too much.The wattage on the product is 50w which I was a bit concerned by, as it is one of the main things I look at when purchasing electrical items these days, as the running costs are so important. It only uses in the high 40s when everything is on, so full power, light on and oscillating which is something I would rarely do. On the full speed and oscillating side to side, it runs at about 35w. At the half way mark and oscillating it is only about 16w, and that is the most used setting I would have it on, so I am very pleased about that!The cooling effect is very efficient and it does well covering a large sized room. The noise is minimal and very impressive. I have smaller fans which are twice as noisy as this one!I have tried the aromatherapy feature of this fan, but found that to be rather disappointing. I can smell the essential oil but only if I am very close to the fan when it is running, which defeats the object in my eyes. Maybe you need to use something very strong for it to carry around a room.Overall a good fan which works well in a large area.

With the warmer weather coming i knew it was time for a new fan after having my other for 10 yrs. Gotta say this fan is a wonderful bit of kit for the price, even on its lowest setting it lets off a pretty cold breeze and no sound at lvl 1 at all which soon cools down the room, where other fans i have found just moved the warm air about. It goes upto lvl 12 speedWould heighly recommend

It was so easy to set up and really powerful. I have it at the end of my bed and sleep with it on power 7, it’s quiet enough to sleep with and powerful enough to sleep with a duvet in the summer. I definitely recommend this in the summer. I’m not sure if it’s powerful enough for a large area but definitely for a bedroom.

I got in touch with the seller of the item and was delighted by the prompt and helpful customer service. I received a new fan within just 2 days! This fan is perfect. I love the silver sleek look that matches the interior of my home. The up/down and left/right oscillating features are a real bonus to this fan. I especially love the backlight that emits a calming ambiance in the evenings when winding down. This fan can reach a very powerful airflow that cools down the room instantly. Its fantastic value for money. This fan is incredibly durable and can tell will be long lasting. I highly recommend 👌🏾

This VonHaus height-adjustable pedestal fan was straightforward to assemble and looks smart and modern. The blade housing is more compact than older floor-standing fans I have used and has a wind tunnel-style design that helps channel airflow more effectively. The overall construction feels stable and well balanced, and it fits comfortably into a home setting.The fan head movement control is one of its strong features. It oscillates both horizontally and vertically, and it can tilt fully upwards and even slightly beyond. That is unusual for a floor-standing or desk fan and gives much more control over how air moves through the space. You can direct airflow precisely where needed or use it to create a gentle circulation effect by bouncing air off the ceiling.There are twelve fan speeds. At the lowest settings, it runs very quietly and is barely audible. Around level five, the sound becomes more noticeable but remains unobtrusive. From levels ten to twelve, the motor and airflow noise increase significantly, which is to be expected at those levels. The airflow at full power is strong and very effective at helping you cool down by increasing air movement around the body.One issue I noticed was a slight vibrating noise at higher speeds when the fan is angled upwards. The unit does not shake, but something inside the casing seems to resonate or rattle slightly. It is not a major issue, but it stands out on an otherwise well-refined product. It may be a fault with my particular unit.The remote control is reliable and responsive. It worked well from both the front and the side. When switched off, the fan automatically returns to a central forward position with a slight downward tilt. The manual advises against repositioning the fan head by hand, as this could damage the internal mechanism.Another welcome feature is the aromatherapy function. A small circular cap at the back can be removed to add a few drops of your preferred essential oil. It is a thoughtful touch and helps create a pleasant atmosphere in the room.The white LED display is clear and emits a soft glow at night without being distracting. I also appreciated the 12-hour timer, which is longer than most pedestal fans I have used and provides more flexibility if you want it to run while you sleep or throughout the day.One thing to be aware of is the short mains lead. Depending on your room layout, this may limit where you can position the fan without using an extension cable.Overall, this is a well-designed and versatile fan with strong airflow, quiet performance at lower levels, and excellent directional control. If the vibration issue is solved, and perhaps is related only to a faulty unit, it would be close to ideal. As it stands, I am happy to give it four stars, particularly at the current discounted price of £74.99.
