5.0 out of 5 stars A very capable stereo which is amazing value for money.

(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } This is my second product from this brand and I am just as happy with this stereo as I was with the previous one.Installation went fine - you get everything you need in the box so you don't have to worry about getting any wires etc.Once installed the stereo is a lovely addition to my car. The screen is bright and vibrant with good viewing angles. It holds up well under direct sunlight too.The functionality is brilliant with everything you could ever need from such a device. My phone connected to it without any problems and stays connected without any drops out or issues. The sat nav works brilliant and seems very accurate. The reversing camera is a massive bonus and it gives a very nice clear image and definitely helps in certain situations when reversing. Another bonus is the 2 big physical dials which make operating the stereo much easier when driving. For the price this is an absolute belter of a stereo and I can't complain at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars offers all the necessary functions and works stably

    A. · 25 July 2025

Installing this stereo didn't take me long, as the kit also included wire harness harness that fit my car's connectors without any problems. I installed it on my old Toyota, and the installation went without any problems. The screen resolution is only 720p, although it could have been better, but on the other hand, given the small screen size, this resolution is sufficient. The screen has good picture clarity, so everything is clearly visible even in the sun.My wife especially liked the physical control knobs, they help her a lot when she is a passenger in the car and someone is holding the phone, and I am busy driving.I was especially pleased with the wireless CarPlay connection - now my iPhone connects automatically as soon as I start the car. Navigation via Apple Maps is displayed clearly, and Siri voice commands work without delays. I use Bluetooth for music - the sound through the standard speakers has become noticeably cleaner, the bass is more pronounced. The rear view camera has a fairly wide 140° view, which really helps when parking. I especially liked the fact that the image is displayed on the screen instantly when you engage reverse gear without any manipulation. Overall, I am happy with the GPS, the connection quality is also quite good, even in the outback. Of the small minuses - Android Auto sometimes slows down when connected wirelessly, but there are no such problems with a wired one. This radio offers all the necessary functions and works stably.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value

    M.A.C. · 14 July 2025

I ordered this off Vine without fully thinking it through...it needs a dbl DIN space to fit it. And I didn't have a dbl space. What I did have was a single, with a pocket under it, for storage. So, I did some internet searches, and *if* you can make room, you can fit it. And you can get, for Renaults at least, an aftermarket casing to retro-fit into the dash after removing the radio and storage bin. So I've got one ordered, but delivery has been pushed back for the second time, so I thought I should do the review prior to final fitting. I've removed the old radio and bin, and the wiring has been put in (a friend did that part, because I wasn't at all sure what I was doing), and when plugged in, it all worked! And it looks so good! When the case arrives, I'll try to remember to take a picture and update this review.

4.0 out of 5 stars option for the money, for everyday use the functionality is more than enough

    M. · 22 July 2025

Thanks to the included wiring and color markings on each wire, installation was very easy and straightforward. The large 10.1-inch screen with a very good resolution of 720×1280 fitted perfectly into the interior of my car. After I have turned on the screen I have noticed that the image is clear even if there is bright sunlight. I was using my iPhone for connection to the carplay, and when with the wireless option, the setup also was very easy and straightforward. After connecting my phone I got access to standard applications like Apple Maps navigation and music from Spotify, which are now always at hand whenever I want to use them without having to connect any wires.I thoughtthat wheredual-control systemis especially convenient, it allows me to adjust the volume either with the touch screen or with physical knobs, which is safer when driving. The built-in GPS with pre-installed maps works more accurately than expected, on a test drive of 200km the error was no more than 20 meters. The rear view camera (720P)gives a fairly clear picture during the day, although at night the quality is expectedly slightly reduced. The sound through the speakers has become noticeably better thanks to the 10-band equalizer - the bass is deeper, the high frequencies are cleaner. FM radio with RDS stably catches local stations. Bluetooth 4.1 provides a reliable connection for calls and music. After some use I noticed a few details:- Android screen mirroring requires a USB cable- Camera included without parking linesThis is a great option for the money, for everyday use the functionality is more than enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good performance, love the physical controls, does require experience to install

    V. · 6 July 2025

I got my brother in law to install this as he's more of a car guy than I am, and I'm very impressed with this - I love that the prices for these units are falling down - I remember you'd have to pay many hundreds, if not thousands for similar units years ago!The touchscreen is pretty responsive, though some lag does pop out now and then - nothing really noticeable when driving, but if you're looking out for it, it can be spotted. The display is only 720p so whilst it's good quality, it's not impressive. It pairs with my iPhone via Bluetooth very easily, and I can enjoy the full host of Apple Carplay apps, from maps to music which work great.Whilst I mainly use Apple Maps, the GPS maps do work quite fine.Love the physical controls, can be mapped to different functions, but I do like the volume on the left setup, with right handling brightness.A very nice kit, great for modernising an old car at very good value for money - it's just not plug and play though, and does require some technical expertise to get it mounted and wired correctly.

Not android auto, but IMO seems better.

Think of it like a limited tablet. Based on another unit I've used, it's frankly better than the android auto I've used. The great is that it works pretty standalone, if you use offline maps, you've got a nice standalone radio/gps. Online it works with google. It can play things like youtube and suchThe app is crap, but use this as semi-standalone (only internet sharing) and it works better than Android Auto IMO. (Kind of a -/+ a star on this.)It comes with 2 connection harnesses: 1 which is for more modern cars, The other is basically bare wire. I was putting this in an early 1990s GMC G Van , so I first started on the bare wire, but I saw and ended up getting a wiring harness for those, which I got this morning. That made it easy! I'd been bench testing/taking it in the car, but it as not the same. It is bigger than it appeared so I've got a revision 2 of a bracket design to hold it better in the works. I think I'll get someone to post it online. So it's basically an android tablet with a custom interface, which has two knobs and I really like the knobs. One controls volume, the other is either next or a radio tuner. Seriously I miss cars having tactile interfaces, on my similar early 1990s car, I could adjust it by feel without taking my eyes at all off the road. I forgot to test the AM mode (Which was the one thing that worked (kinda) in the 30+ year old radio with busted up display. FM was one of the fastest channel scans. Makes any other radio seem slow, and it got them all (or at least all I care about.) No more fiddling with trying to find a decent news station, in amongst the hate preachers who somehow see to all have radio stations around here. Hallelujah or something.Music is good, I'm rather impressed at the quality coming from the speakers. Perfect? LOL. I'm sitting in a rattling old car, where the road will add it's own noise overlay to anything? Not perfect. However, Jokes aside. It's pretty good especially when stationary. I would like if it did something like adjust the volume automatically, but that's more to do with the excessive noise from the vehicle. At $65 dollars, I think it's one of the cheaper retrofit options (note I had to do a bracket and did use a $11 wire harness, most modern cars will not need that.) and it gives a backup camera as well if you don't have one (like the van) so that's a nice bonus. Will update with picture of the final setup, but it for now works and it's pretty nice. I'll go ahead and give it 5 stars.

    Decent radio for the price

The media could not be loaded. Just finished installing into 2004 dodge DakotaHardest part is getting it to mountIf the vehicle where a full dbl din it may have mounted better but suggested mounting in 4 small screws into shallow plasticHad to use some pan head screws and plastic epoxyIt's in, it worksLooks decentHas a stand alone mode , no phone connection ,Has good digital radioGPS is Google maps , think a striped down cheap android tabletNow the carplay connection is quite persistent, Once phone connected it is extremely difficult to just disconnect and go back to basicBut you can if you disable network and Bluetooth on connected phoneOverall, good way to get Carplay into an old vehicle if your handy !Screen sharp but in a few basic settings it has a fuzzy screen , kinda oddThat and mountingIf your just using Carplay go for itUpdate : about 1 month in , noticing the sound is poorly balanced , the EQ does very little .I think this should get 3.5*

A Complete Infotainment Upgrade—Stunning Screen and Crisp Sound!

    M. · 28 July 2025

Upgrading to this 10.1-inch wireless CarPlay and Android Auto stereo has completely transformed my driving experience. The HD touchscreen is vibrant and incredibly responsive, making it easy to switch between apps, navigation, and media without any lag. The wireless connection is seamless—no more tangled cables or fumbling to connect my phone every time I get in the car.The built-in DSP sound system is phenomenal. It brings crystal-clear audio with deep bass and balanced highs, significantly improving the quality of my car’s speakers. Bluetooth 5.0 ensures stable connections and excellent sound quality for both calls and music streaming. The included 1080P backup camera delivers a sharp, clear view with excellent night vision, making parking and reversing safer and stress-free. With 2GB RAM and 64GB ROM, the system runs smoothly even when multitasking or running resource-heavy apps. This media receiver feels like a premium upgrade at a very reasonable price. If you want modern features, excellent sound, and a gorgeous display, this unit is an outstanding choice. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their car’s tech game!

    Great stereo/ head unit .

    V. · 28 June 2025

This stereo/ head unit is a game changer for older cars that don't have this kind of tech in them. I installed this unit on a Toyota carry 2010 and I couldn't be happier!. Everyone that have seen the unit loves it. The installation was very easy as long as you know what to get. I got a double din kit for my car and a stereo harness for my car . The harness will make your life easier as it tells you exactly which wires connect to ech other and then it connects to your existing harness ( it's way easier than it sounds) I did all the wiring and installation on the kit in the house before I went to the car and took the old radio and the trim to put the new kit and connect the harness. For the backup camera just watch any YouTube video anout it and youll be able to do it no problem. The sound is clearer than my old stereo. The quality of the unit is very good and the unit functions as expected. Carplay and Android Auto is supported so after your first manual Bluetooth connection it should just start on its own from then on as long as your Bluetooth is on; just make sure you have carplay or Android Auto on auto start in the settings. I actually love the knobs for the volume as using a touch screen while driving can be tricky . So this is defenetly a value for your money.Hope this was helpful.

10.1" double din Android car stereo

    E. · 10 June 2025

10.1" car stereo with Android. AM/FM radio and good navigational controls on system. The two large control wheels on the lower side need to get used to with the lower 1" of the screen dedicated to the quick access menu. The system connected to WiFi smoothly and there was a more current OS available. I guess since this only has 2GB RAM, the applications response is slower than desired. Play store updates were also very slow. The usable screen hight that actually displays info is just about 3.75".

Great stereo/ head unit .
