Great product. Not cheap but it's extremely well built. It's strong, sturdy and simple to mount. It even includes all tools required to build it.Absolutely fantastic!! I'm amazed and will definitely buy more products from DeskPi.

I've been looking for a mini rack for a while, so I was very excited to try this.The rack is made from metal with acrylic sides, and screws together with supplied screws and screwdrivers. It wasn't too difficult to assemble, but I do feel it could have been easier. There are three main types of screw used in the construction, and 3 screwdrivers, and I can't help but think it would have been easier if they'd got this down to one or two. That could also make it a little cheaper.It took about half an hour to put it all together, and once done it is very strong and secure. You get a couple of small shelves included that work in the vertical orientation, but I would have liked another. Or perhaps one that worked in the horizontal position. As it is, I'll need to buy some more hardware to fully kit out this rack.This is my first mini rack, so I need to spend some time figuring out how best to make use of the space, but overall I'm very happy with it, and looking forward to some fun rack-based projects!

It’s perfect for my NUC-style PC and other small board computers, replacing an old wooden shelf that, honestly, felt more like a shoe rack than tech gear storage. Assembly was a breeze with all tools included, and what really sets this model apart is its flexibility: vertical or horizontal, it adapts to your space.

L'armoire GeeekPi DeskPi RackMate TT est relativement facile à monter, il m'aura fallu tout de même une bonne trentaine de minutes pour l'assemblage, le plus long aura été de retirer la protection sur le plexiglass, le papier avait tendance à s'arracher, même si j'y allais très délicatementJe suis très satisfait de la qualité de cet armoire, dans mon cas je l'ai installé à la verticale afin de pouvoir installer plusieurs petits appareils, tel que le Raspberry Pi, il est tout de même possible de l'installer à l'horizontale.

Good design mini rack but with some cooling limitations

The cabinet arrives impressively packaged and feels compact yet solid. You can immediately tell there’s something substantial inside. One of the first things that stands out is the high quality craftsmanship of the components. Every detail appears to be well thought out, and assembly is actually quite fun.A big plus is that it can be configured in two different sizes, making it adaptable to your needs. However, when using the wider setup, you’ll end up with less available rack height. Thankfully, the handles can be repositioned, and depending on whether you place it vertically or horizontally, you have flexible mounting options.What I didn’t like is that the ventilation design wasn’t fully considered for horizontal placement. The cooling holes are on the sides. That’s not ideal, since warm air rises. It would have been great if an extra perforated top panel had been included for better airflow in horizontal orientation. Right now, the top is completely sealed, which traps heat.Another point to consider is space. It's very tight inside, so you’ll need to measure carefully. In horizontal mode, you get only 3U of usable space, which may be limiting depending on your setup.As for the price, I find it slightly high. Every module or accessory adds up, and in the end, the total cost of the cabinet and add-ons gets close to the cost of the actual hardware you’re installing, which isn’t ideal.

Ottimo rack domestico

Acquisto super consigliato per chiunque volesse creare un proprio mini rack domestico. Lo uso per il mio raspberry pi come server domotico e tramite la configurazione verticale sta comodamente sopra la scrivania. La struttura è molto ben fatta e fornisce un’idea premium, presente nei lati del plexiglass trasparente e nella parte inferiore e superiore del plexiglass ritagliato così da permettere il corretto circolo dell’aria. Presenta anche due maniglie (opzionali nell’installazione) per permettere lo spostamento in modo facile. Al suo interno sono presenti anche due ripiani (solo però per la configurazione verticale)
