It's very difficult to accurately represent the exact shade of yellow this filament offers in a photo; but be assured it's a lovely warm colour.Note that DEEPLEE offer two shades; the 'Sunflower Yellow' I'm reviewing here and just 'Yellow'. The latter is much colder/greener.The closest match I can think of to this 'Sunflower Yellow' would be the McDonalds 'Golden Arches' colour; perhaps a little warmer than that.After spot-checking the diameter I've found it's not quite "±0.02mm" as claimed; not that I expected such accuracy on low cost filament. The worst deviation I found was +0.05mm (which is acceptable) with most of my measurements being ±0.03mm (which is great). This is comparable to more expensive filaments I've purchased in the past.The print quality is excellent on my H2S when using a default/generic PLA profile; essentially perfect. However that's not unusual on the Bambu printer. It prints pretty much everything at fantastic quality.What has impressed me is the stiffness of resulting part. I don't normally print structural parts in PLA but I'm considering doing more with this 'PLA Plus' filament.Perhaps the biggest surprise is how cheap it is. Right now the black spool is just £10 per kilo. This 'Sunflower Yellow' is less than £14 per kilo. That's the least I've ever paid for a spool of PLA and as far as I can tell still performs brilliantly.

I ordered the hot Pink colour as my daughter is forever asking me to print models for her and she loves anything that's pink. This colour is really quite nice although it could do with being a bit more vibrant to match the name as it's not that different to a reel of ordinary pink I already have.I've used several filaments from this vendor and I think this filament has given me the best results as adhesion is good, little stringing and no blockages or clogs. I've experimented with different settings and found 60/220 to work best for me with speeds up to 300mm/s working fine. Whilst I had good results straight from the box there is visible improvement after putting it in a dryer. I really like this filament and will be exploring what other colours they have in this range - recommended.

Another great deeplee filament.Ive found Deeplee filament to be very consistent and print very well with colours being quite pleasing. This roll continues that trend and prints well indeed.Its well spooled with no tangles or issues there. Diameter seems consistent and I had no clogging using this on my P1P at 220C at high speeds with high cooling.No weird blobbing or stringing was observed and there was no issues that I could see with moisture either and I tested this right from the bag into an AMS.Slightly more expensive than other PLA by the same brand but retains its great value due to consistency.

I’ve tested a fair number of budget PLA+ filaments, and DEEPLEE’s 2.0 version holds up well—especially considering the £13 price tag. It’s marketed as an upgraded PLA+ with better impact resistance and smoother extrusion, and in practice, it delivers on most of those claims.🧵 Winding & ConsistencyThe spool is neatly wound with no crossovers or tangling, which is critical for uninterrupted prints. Diameter tolerance is listed at ±0.02mm, and I didn’t notice any fluctuations during extrusion. It fed cleanly through my Bowden setup with no signs of under-extrusion or nozzle clogging.🖨️ Print QualityI ran it through a Bambu P1P and an Ender 3 V2 using standard PLA+ profiles (210°C nozzle / 60°C bed). Adhesion was solid on a PEI sheet with no warping or lifting. Surface finish is smooth with a slight satin sheen—ideal for functional parts or aesthetic prints. Layer bonding is decent, though not quite as strong as premium brands like Polymaker or eSun.🌡️ Tuning & ReliabilityIt prints well across the recommended range (200–230°C), but I found 210°C to be the sweet spot for minimal stringing and good layer adhesion. Bed adhesion was fine at 60°C, though I’d suggest bumping it to 65°C for larger prints. No popping or bubbling, which suggests it’s reasonably dry out of the bag.♻️ Packaging & Eco ConsiderationsComes vacuum-sealed with a desiccant pack, but the bag isn’t resealable—which is a minor annoyance if you’re storing partial rolls. The spool is plastic, not cardboard, so not the most eco-conscious option, though PLA itself is biodegradable under industrial conditions.🎨 Colour & FinishThe white filament is clean and neutral—not overly bright or chalky. It’s a good base for painting or dyeing, and it hides layer lines well. I’ve also tested their grey and turquoise variants, which offer consistent colour and finish across prints.💬 VerdictFor £13, DEEPLEE PLA Plus 2.0 is a solid choice for everyday printing. It’s not the toughest PLA+ I’ve used, but it’s reliable, easy to tune, and produces clean results. If you’re printing functional parts, cosplay props, or general-purpose models and want to keep costs down, this filament is well worth a try.
