My husband has arthritis is both hands and its too dangerous for him to hold a normal kettle. I can now go out knowing if my hubby needs a hot drink he can now make one without fear of him dropping the kettle. You also get instant boiling water. Don't know how we managed before buying this. Not enough stars this product. If i hadn't seen the poster with the DWP recommending these we would still have been struggling.

Compared with other hot water dispensers this one is very compact.In standby it only uses 0.6 Watt which is below the latest EU standby power consumption limits. Well done.The only thing that is a problem for me is it has three preset water dispense amounts and a popular size 250ml is not one of them. It is a shame they the user could not program your three most popular cup sizes.So I have to use the "Tall" option and be ready to touch the button at the level I want (before it overflows).No child lock so no delays with unlock waits (but may be an issue for some households).If left plugged in it keeps your last setting of cup size and temperature so two touches of the dispense button and it starts.Easy to fill and slide on a work surface (no suction feet) to fill or remove the tank. You don't have to put the water filter in if your source is already filtered.

Considering most of these are over £100 on Bolo, this is an absolute bargain, easy to set up, really only needs common sense to use, and instant boiling water, also it's very quiet which I wasn't expecting, definitely recommend at this price

Great filtered hot water dispenser but no mention of where to buy replacement cylinder filters can anyone advise where to buy compatible filters for this machine.

This looks quiet compact and sleek on our kitchen worksurface.It is quite easy and intuitive to use. You select cup size and temperature and press start. It dispenses the water - for short cups as shown there was a bit of splashback onto the unit. You cannot adjust the height of the platform.I tested this for boiling water - at the end of dispensing the water temperature in the cup was 80oC, Of course it starts to cool as soon as dispenses. For comparison I boiled water in the kettle - after pouring into the cup it was at 87oC though after about 30s or so - the time it takes the unit to dispense a cup - the temperature had fallen to 83oC. So overall perhaps not too bad but may be a little short - this may be more a feature of the slow fill; of the cup so water dispensed at the start is cooling during the rest of the pour. .It is fairly quiet and is also quick - 30s for a small cup. This must be saving energy.I like the use of the water filter - we already filter all our tap water for the kettle so this set up is ideal. You get a filter included - it takes the standard cylinder filters.A nice touch is the light that illuminates the drink when in operation.All in all fairly impressed with this.Happy to recommend.

Loads of tea for my wife and I was so fed up waiting for the kettle to boil every time. This instant hot water dispenser has been great. I prefer it that you can alter the temperature, 'cause I like my coffee not boiling. It's appallingly fast. The only small problem is that the water tank is bigger, I think I'm filling it up more frequently than I thought. But other than that, I'm really pleased with it.
