It took us some time to put it together but once it was set up it looked amazing. The instructions were clear and we had fun building it together.There are four slot cars included and they all move very fast. The controls are easy to use and even younger kids can race without any problems. My son loves watching the cars go through the loops and around the turns. The track layout is fun and keeps everyone entertained for a long time.The track feels strong and the pieces connect firmly. It does take a bit of space but it is worth it for how much fun it brings. We play with it almost every day and it never gets boring. It is also great when friends come over because four people can play at once.

This set has sparked both cheers and the odd eye-roll in our house. Inside the box you will find more than thirty-five track pieces, four slot-cars and four loops, enough to create a surprisingly large circuit. When everything lines up properly the cars shoot round at an impressive pace, the double loop always earns a genuine gasp, and my five-year-old insists on acting as the pit crew.The modular sections keep things interesting. My eight-year-old recently rebuilt it to resemble the bends near Glasgow Green, giving the layout a fresh challenge. Unfortunately, the illuminated risers tend to wobble. One swish of the dog’s tail or a breeze through the patio door can send half the track skating across the floor. The connectors also demand a firm push, so younger racers may need an adult’s help.Set it up on a hard surface, accept that you will be rebuilding sections now and then, and you will be rewarded with rapid races, decent STEM-based conversations and respectable value for money.

Since this track set showed up, my front room has felt like a pocket-sized Silverstone. The box holds more than thirty-five click-together pieces, four chunky loop sections and four miniature slot cars that tear round the bends faster than the dog when dinner’s ready. Thanks to the endless layout possibilities, the children have stopped complaining of boredom, and every time the cars hit the loops we all pause to see whether they will stay on.The motors deliver a decent burst of speed and, so far, the electrics have not let us down, which is more than I can say for other budget sets we have owned. Building it, though, is a real test of patience. The plastic flexes, so lining up the straights takes plenty of fiddling, and one careless knock can send an entire corner flying. On a hard floor it behaves well, but on carpet or, worse, outdoors, the whole track wobbles like jelly.If you can put up with a fiddly set-up, the pace, the loop-the-loops and the endless configuration options make this kit terrific fun. Stronger track sections would raise it from good value to excellent.

My nine-year-old and his toddler sister have finally found common ground, cars, plastic track and the sort of noise that rattles the photo frames. The 35-piece slot-car set lands on the living-room rug looking a bit like a jigsaw after a party, yet after a quick shuffle of straights and bends we managed to snake the circuit from the sofa, past the toy box and out into the hallway.Putting it together is straightforward at first, click, click, click, but the moment the throttle is squeezed a few joints decide they would rather be elsewhere. The four loops are brilliant, flinging the tiny cars round at a speed that even made the cat question her judgement in sitting so close. A stray elbow from an overexcited driver will flatten the loop supports, so a blob of Blu Tack under each foot has become our in-house pit-stop tweak.The plastic is on the thin side and you can see one or two mould lines if you look for them. That said, the little motors have survived half a dozen dramatic flights off the coffee table with no visible scars. On the fun-to-faff scale the set scores very highly, provided you are happy to spend ten minutes reinforcing the corners before the lights turn green. For the price, I would buy it again tomorrow, along with a pair of ear defenders for the grown-ups.

This car track set will give many hours of enjoyment to the young and not so young in the family.The plastic straights, bends and loops click together easily, forming a strong track.Four cars are supplied, these are the pull back and go type, so when set off, they power themselves along the track.Well made and well thought out, good value for money and sure to give lots of fun and entertainment.

I ordered this car track to play with my cousins children when they visit.We set this up but found the track isn't the greatest quality and isn't very stable so moves about a bit, it does work fine and the cars will whizz around the loops, but you have to be gentle so that track doesn't move about or the cars faloff.I expected better quality to be honest, but if your careful with it , then you won't have any issues, the cars on the other hand roll freely and are good quality.

My kids really love this race track set! The cars are fast and work well, and the track is easy to build with lots of fun pieces. The quality is great — everything feels sturdy and well-made. They've been playing with it every day. Definitely a good buy for any car-loving kid!
