Most of it seems to plug in to pre-existing plugs, and everything is well labelled, but I am not sure I would know what to do with it.The looks like it is well made, and I like the fact that it comes with a reversing camera. All of the wiring is well labelled, but there is quite a bit of it, probably if this is a straight swap, it will be obvious, otherwise, I am not so sure. For me, the manual does not seem great as it lacks detailed information about how to wire it in.If you are good at the wiring (and I am not) you may be OK, otherwise, you may need someone competent to install it.Overall, for the right person, this seems like it would be a reasonable replacement, at just under £59 it is cheap enough, and the quality seems reasonable.I will not be able to comment on the functionality because as I said, this item seems a little bit too much of a stretch for my capabilities.

The car stereo is a fantastic addition to my car. The large, responsive touchscreen looks great and is easy to use. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work flawlessly, making calls, music, and navigation super convenient with voice control.The Bluetooth connection is solid, sound quality is clear, and the included reversing camera is excellent for parking. I also love the built-in GPS, fast startup, and handy USB support.Overall, it’s a feature rich, user friendly stereo that delivers way more than I expected at this price point. Highly recommend!

This product was sent to me for review as part of the Bolo Vine program. The following reflects my real-world experience using it.It is clearly a good-quality set: the screen has a robust, sleek build, while all the included wiring seems to be what you would expect for a device like this. Also, everything is labelled.I requested it because my car's current stereo does not support CarPlay, and the Bluetooth connection can be quite patchy, so it needs an upgrade. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that this particular model is suitable for my car—quite a few elements have left me confused and not confident about whether it is possible to try.Firstly, there is a distinct lack of instructions; the included manual is very vague and (along with the listing details) does not make clear whether the stereo can be fitted in cars with stereos in the middle of the dashboard (instead of closer to the top, like pictured here). Also, there is no explanation of how and where to fit the included mounting bracket (which seems relatively small).I also don't know if the unit will work with my car's steering controls or whether I need to purchase additional accessories, which I was hoping I would not have to do.In summary, this is a really useful-looking and potentially good-value device, but it seriously lacks compatibility and installation information.

Although it is not as sophisticated as some other models, it has plenty of features hard to find on a car radio this priceGet someone that knows what they're doing or a professional to install the backup camera thoughAll features are user-friendly with my phone.Overall very happy with this radio.

The Haudio 10.1" Double-DIN Car Stereo adds smart entertainment to a vehicle's dashboard. This unit packs a large screen and a host of features designed to enhance driving entertainment.The 10.1" display is the star of the show. It offers a significant upgrade in screen real estate compared to standard double-DIN units, making navigation maps and multimedia content more engaging. However, the 10.1" display is too large to fit flush in to the empty recess of a double din unit. The rear of the unit which houses the amplifier and other electronics mounts in to the recess but the screen itself stands proud or 'floats' over the recess. Switches close to the recess could be obstructed by the screen.The installation kit includes wiring harnesses, GPS antenna, rear view camera, USB cables and instructions. There's a lot of it, even a spare connector with bare wires that you can manually wire in to your cars' wiring harness should the provided 'universal' connector not fit. As to whether installation is a DIY job really depends on the vehicle and the person's DIY skills. Phone calls to several professionals in my area resulted in quotes ranging from £80 to £150 for my vehicle and some warned that certain functions controlled/adjusted from the original stereo such as the car's clock and litres or gallons per mile option could not be replicated on the new unit - I do not have steering controls but have been advised that these often require an adapter to get them working and in some cases will not work at all.The 10.1" capacitive touchscreen is bright, clear, and responsive. Colours are vibrant, and the resolution is good enough for sharp text and detailed images. Navigating through menus is generally smooth, with intuitive icons and a well-laid-out interface. Touch gestures work reliably, similar to a modern tablet. While it's not a top-tier smartphone display, it's excellent for a car stereo and significantly improves visibility.The Haudio CVD1661-AJ provides a solid audio experience the built-in amplifier delivering a clear and punchy sound. It offers various equalizer pre-sets and custom adjustment options, allowing you to fine-tune the sound to your preference and vehicle's acoustics. Bass is surprisingly robust, and mids and highs are well-defined. For casual listeners and even audio enthusiasts, this unit offers a satisfying sound.The unit can be used with both Apple CarPlay (not tested and apparently needs to be connected via USB to the phone) and Android Auto which will connect wirelessly. Android auto provides seamless integration with the smartphone for navigation, music, calls, and messaging directly on the large screen. Bluetooth was quick to pair for audio streaming and hands-free calling. Call quality through the units inbuilt microphone was clear. Multiple USB ports allow for media playback from flash drives and charging. The FM/AM radio offers standard radio functionality with good reception.The rear camera requires its own installation the difficulty of which will again depend on the complexity of the car and DIY skill of the person undertaking the job. The cable will need to be routed from the rear of the unit to the back of the car and wired in to the brake lights to automatically switch to the camera feed when reverse gear is engaged. I have not yet fitted this and do not know if the professional costs I was quoted for fitting the display included fitting the rear camera.Using the Haudio CVD1661-AJ has proved to be a positive experience. The rapid boot-up time means you're not waiting long after starting the car. Switching between sources (radio, Bluetooth, CarPlay/Android Auto) is quick. The large screen makes using navigation apps like Google Maps or Waze easy and safe as the visual information is provided by the large screen is a lot clearer than on the comparatively small screen of a smartphone . Video playback (when parked, for passengers) is also crisp and enjoyable on the large display.While the unit is impressive, there are a few minor points. The brightness, while good, could benefit from an even higher maximum output for extremely sunny conditions. Also, while the UI is intuitive, some deeper settings can be a little less straightforward to find initially. Lastly, while the audio quality is good for a unit in its price range, serious audiophiles might still consider adding an external amplifier for more power and fidelity.The Haudio 10.1" Double-DIN Car Stereo (Model: CVD1661-AJ) brings modern smartphone connectivity and a premium visual interface to the dashboard. I recommended it for its features, performance, and overall user experience but do bear in mind that if you are not able to fit it yourself it could cost you 3x the price of the unit to have it fitted professionally.
