It produces plenty of foam, so you don't need to worry there. I've looked up the hydroxyapatite and apparently it does repair tooth enamel, but only where there are microscopic cracks - not wholesale cavities. So bear that in mind if you're thinking of a "quick fix" for rotten teeth.The price is reasonable for this kind of toothpaste, and you get 2 tubes so it's not too bad.

This toothpaste has a nice flavour and has significantly reduced any sensitivities in my teeth. On the pricey side, but it works!

I have seen a lot of hype about Hydroxyapatite toothpaste - it's said to help remineralise teeth, repair microscopic damage, reduce sensitivity and offer effective protection, similar to Fluoride.This pack comes in two tubes that are cellophaned, and the tubes themselves have a foil cover over the tube on first opening. The toothpaste is pleasant enough - not as strongly minty as I prefer, more a spearmint flavour.Teeth look white and clean afterwards and I was more than happy. Great price for these, too, as this variety of toothpaste can be very expensive.Hydroxyapatite has been used for decades in clinical settings and is also used as a coating in implant surgery to encourage faster bone healing.The "nano" variety is said to be better at filling early micro lesions in the enamel. 10% or more is usually recommended to be effective.Great to see that it's Cruelty Free. Other ingredients are Nicotinamide to reduce the build up of tartar, Peppermint Oil (for flavouring) and Hydrated Silica to remove tartar (though, this may be abrasive).There may be worrying developments, however, as the jury is currently out on Nano Hydroxyapatite. "Needle-shaped" nHA is banned as an ingredient in the EU - see below (this toothpaste is Made In China). Some even allege it can cross the blood-brain barrier.There's this quote:"...SCCS guidelines on the safety of Nano Hydroxyapatite found that differences in the shape and size of the particles affected safety.'needle-shaped' nano hydroxyapatite was found to be much more dangerous than 'rod-shaped' and isn't recommended for use in toothpastes.Most toothpaste brands either don't know the difference or don't specify what they use.A different source investigated and found many toothpastes used 'needle-shaped' largely because it's cheaper and easier to find in quantities large enough for an affordable >/10% concentration."Also:"...needle-shaped particles are banned in EU - none of the nano toothpastes sold in the U.S. use them."This is a potentially exciting area of dental care but it needs more research (compared to Fluoride, which, love it or hate it, has nearly a century of studies behind it).Perhaps to be safe, stay with US brands or brands that stress they use the safer "rod-shaped" nHA.Consumers need to be reassured they are using a safe variety, so for that I will give this three stars, due to these unknowns.Perhaps the manufacturer can clarify this in the listing?

Love this toothpaste. Not sure of its long-term effects as I have only just started using it but I have noticed a reduction in tooth sensitiviy pretty much straight away. I also love its kind of bubble gum taste. Leaves your teeth feeling fresh and clean. If only it wasn't so expensive!

This hydroxyapatite toothpaste tastes lovely - as the title says, it’s like juicy fruit chewing gum but has a slight minty hint too.Hydroxyapatite seems to be a newer thing on the toothpaste market, to replace fluoride toothpastes. It feels slightly grittier, but is considered gently on the tooth enamel and actually restorative there.The only thing to note is that the nozzle does clog up easily, you need to unscrew it and unclog it ever few days.The price for two is fair compared to some supermarket prices for whitening toothpaste, and it does a good job of leaving your mouth feeling really clean.

Fluoride-free yet repairing toothpaste.It tastes minty fresh and has helped reduce my sensitive teeth and gums.You don't need a lot for each use.It has the benefit of Hydroxyapatite which is a naturally occurring mineral that is supposed to help restore and strengthen tooth enamel.I really hope this does help as my teeth are bargain basement quality!

Pleasant minty flavour and being two tubes I think excellent value for money.I have sensitive teeth and this toothpaste was a good all round toothpaste comes out of tube easily and stands up.
