We’ve used it for ice coffees and smoothies over the hot weather, and it has coped extremely well.Simple and easy to use with five buttons that give you different function and speed settings all with a positive click. It’s so nice to have a glass jug too, some many time it’s just plastic even on the more expensive machines and this is a big enough size not to be processing items several times. Even when it’s nearly full it “chops and crushes” like a demon! The self-clean function is such a bonus too no more trying to get it in dishwasher worrying if you’re going to ruin it? Excellent value for £34.99 leave some of the other more expensive machine standing in it’s wake. Recommended 5* without hesitation.

Straight out of the box this blender felt like a solid piece of kit. The large glass jug is so much better than the plastic ones I’ve used; it is heavy duty, smells don’t transfer between blends, and it doesn’t get scratched or stained.It’s easy to use - just cut your ingredients into small chunks (2cm cube) then push a suitable button. There are five buttons on the base giving various options for speed, and one for cleaning; just add a few drops of washing up liquid and blend. Additionally, all the parts except the base are dishwasher safe, though we've always washed by hand.We’ve tried nuts, ice, frozen fruit and it copes with these easily using the pulse feature (button P). Great for delicious smoothies and milk shakes. Soup also blends well, though you shouldn’t put boiling liquids directly in it, let them cool first.It’s noisy when blending, particularly ice, but that is normal for most blenders, and it’s no worse than our last one. We have a granite surface, so we placed a towel underneath the base to quieten it a bit.Great value for money.

✅ Buttons are a lot easier to use than the dials on other blenders, especially when pulsing.✅ Does well on ice, with a little jiggling to keep the ice cubes in the blades.✅ Stable on the base even before it's locked in place, unlike some.➗ Banana milkshake had 1 or 2 pieces of banana left. Chop small and it's fine.

This GDOR blender is absolutely superb. We were really impressed with the construction quality and the overall appearance as soon as we opened the package.The blending jug is huge compared to our old blender. The glass feels first class, it's lovely and heavy but still easy to use, just like quality glassware should be. At a full 1.5L in size there's lots of room in there for just about anything we can throw at it - it's twice the size of any blender we've ever had but it's dealt with everything easily so far. There's nothing flimsy about this machine at all. To go along with the rest of this blender, the cutting blades are superb and there's 6 of them!In use the motor is powerful and smooth to operate. There's even selection buttons to match the kind of task you're doing, it's very intuitive and straightforward. As you'd expect there is noise from the motor and the blender when it's spinning, but it's no louder than any other blender I've ever used. After use we've found it to be remarkably easy to rinse out and clean then it's ready for next time.Overall I think this is a quality item and I'm more than pleased to add it to our kitchen tools. It looks superb, works well and seems to be of good quality. At under £40 at the time of this review for a blender of this power and capacity I think this is great value for money. Super happy with this, recommended.

I am really disappointed not to be able to do a proper review of this blender but as can be seen in my photos it arrived damaged on the rim of the lid. Picture 1 shows the 2 holes in the box it came in, but I don't understand how when the lid was inside the jug part of the blender & the bits that were broken off were in the bottom of the bubble wrap bag the jug came in ??? I did try to run the blender even though the broken bits are right on the seal of the lid. Unfortunately when running, fluid shot out from the joint of where the lid meets the top of the jug so all testing was abandoned. I can say the base part is of a good weight & didn't move when it was running. The jug is made of glass & is also a very good weight. I think this would have earned a 5 star rating if it hadn't been damaged.

I’ve been using this for smoothies and milkshakes and it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far – frozen fruit, ice, soft veg – all blended smoothly with no problems. The 700W motor feels powerful and the six blades seem to cut through things quickly and evenly.The glass jug is a nice touch – much sturdier than plastic and it doesn’t hold onto smells or stains. It's also a good size, so you can make bigger batches for a family or guests without having to do it in stages.There are five buttons that give you different speed settings and functions. It's all very straightforward to use, nothing complicated, and the self-cleaning function is a bonus – just add a bit of water and washing-up liquid, press the clean button and rinse.It's a bit noisy when blending harder ingredients like ice, but that’s to be expected with most blenders. Overall, it feels well made and does the job nicely.Would definitely recommend if you want a reliable everyday blender without paying a fortune.

Sturdy easy to use blender. I had a ninja one and this did just as good as job.Used for smoothies and also for blending vegetables down to use in a sauce.
