I remember my grandparents had a manual grinder made in England which had to be locked onto the side of a table and the handle had to be turned as the meat was fed in at the top. Now life has become so much easier with this sturdily built stainless steel electric grinder. The grinder combines meat grinding, sausage making, and Kubbe preparation in one and it includes a sausage stuffing kit and Kubbe attachments.The grinder has a lovely silvery finish and the parts are well made. It is not too large and does not need much room on the kitchen worktop. I have used this meat grinder for grinding meat and it has worked well. It is simple to assemble and disassemble and it has only one large button with three positions for "On", which stays on till turned to "Off" in the middle position and "Reverse" on the right which is press and release. To be honest I don't find there was a need for different speeds, I want my meat ground and it it does the job well. I find the grinder works at a good speed and it has rubber feet to help it stay in place on the worktop which, so far, I've no complaints about. I haven't got around to attempting to make my own sausages yet, can't say I'm that interested in making kubbe but I suppose its an option to have. I am just happy with the grinder aspect to honest. It has lost a star as the description states it operates quietly and I found it to be quite noisy, but I suppose something like this was never going to be soundless and using any electrical kitchen appliance usually comes with some degree of noise, so if you are thinking this will be quiet, it isn't. Apart from that, its a great addition to my kitchen for mincing my own meat and will save on money buying mince in the shops and I know exactly what cuts I am mincing in to my food.

The last meat grinder we had was a manual one that you clamped on to the side of the table and it was hard work and felt like you needed 5 arms to properly work it. This one however, is effortless and feels like it takes up less space because of it. You can sit it anywhere and as long as you have somewhere to capture your meat, all the effort of grinding is done by the machine so you just have to pop it on top and push it down as you go.Make your own burgers with as much as 30 fat content, know what cuts are going into them, for the perfect result of how you want them made, etc.The machine will grind meat and fat without an issue, it doesn't even slow down. It's very powerful.Still waiting to try the sausages making process, but it's easy enough to swap out the attachments and you can get the biscuit one if you want to extrude biscuit dough as well.Overall, a nice machine. If you have a wholesaler, such as a abattoir that sells to the public it's well worth it.

The price of minced beef in the shops has gone absolutely mad lately – nearly £7 for 750g of 20% fat beef! That was the main reason I started looking for a meat grinder, and I'm so pleased I ordered this - it has been absolutely brilliant so far.We’ve mainly been using it for making our own beef mince – perfect for spaghetti bolognese and homemade burgers. It handles meat really well, grinds through it quickly, and the end result has a much better texture than anything we've bought in a packet. Plus, we can now choose exactly what cut we want to mince and avoid unnecessary additives.I haven’t tried the kubbe or sausage-making attachments yet, but they’re included and look easy enough to use. Setup was simple, and everything felt sturdy. It comes with three different size plates (we mostly use the medium one), and it’s surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine.Cleaning is straightforward – takes a few minutes but nothing too fiddly. I also like the reverse button in case anything gets stuck, though we haven’t needed it yet. Feels very solid overall, and the rubber feet keep it stable on the worktop.Honestly, if you go through a lot of mince like we do, this is a no-brainer. You’ll easily save money in the long run, and it gives you full control over what you're eating. Very happy with it so far!

This is a machine solely dedicated to grinding meat (and other food items if you wish). That is all it does - but, it does it very well indeed. Many years ago I made my own sausages, and still have a recipe book for all kinds of sausage. When I saw this grinder I thought it might be good to take up sausage making again, and this machine is far better and more efficient than the one I used a couple of decades ago.It makes really good-textured mince in various grades of coarseness in seconds - really quick and easy to operate. It is also easy to clean, and puts together and takes apart really easily. A sausage making attachment is included, so aside from buying your preferred skins and ingredients, it has all you need to make great sausages with a good range of variations.Overall, although the machine only does one thing, it does it so well it is worth the asking price, and freshly ground meat is much better than the packs of mince bought in the shops. A great addition to the kitchen, and one I can highly recommend.

Great little grinder!
I ordered this because I didn't want to spend the money on a mixer amd grinder combo. This grinder works great for what I've used it for so far! The dog didn't like how loud it was but its a good value for what I am using it for!
