When browsing through Bolo looking for a camcorder, this 8K 64MP gem caught my eye and I thought I’d explore it further. It has a resolution that makes my eyes feel like they're at a fireworks display! Boasting 8K video and 64MP photo capabilities, this camcorder can capture some truly stunning shots, just like those memorable scenes from Cardiff Bay at sunset. The 18X digital zoom comes in handy too, although occasionally it feels like I’m playing one of those 'clearer, clearer, blurrier' games when trying to focus on distant objects.One feature I’ve grown fond of is the 270-degree rotating touch screen. A 3.0-inch display that moves with the grace of a ballerina at times, ensuring I never have to miss my boy's cheeky antics or my girl’s dance moves. The night vision also adds a different layer of fun, almost like peeking into a secret mission with LEDs lighting the way.Now, with its WiFi capabilities, sharing those lovely moments with family near or far becomes a breeze. A shoutout to the remote control as well, which has been great for setting up holiday shots from as far as 66 feet away, assuming no Cardiff cows block the way!It’s an option that finds a balance between price and performance, especially when spanning across video formats from 2.7K up to 8K and beyond. As a primary school teacher from Cardiff, bouncing between teaching and taming my little ones, it fits into my budget and lifestyle quite neatly!

With the capability to shoot in resolutions from 2.7K up to an impressive 8K, this device doesn't lack the features that make your home videos stand out with clarity.It's equipped with night vision and an 18x digital zoom to make even the most reserved night owl appear as if they're right in the room. I found the rotating touch screen really convenient, although I wish it were a bit more responsive. The remote control is a handy feature, allowing operation from a distance, sparing you from having to shout instructions like an amateur director to your own household.Being somewhat tech-savvy means going through the manual, which can be as exciting as assembling Ikea furniture. I think it's well worth the money. Especially for those times when you need something more than a phone camera. While it’s more suited for enthusiasts than professionals, its numerous features and decent image quality make it a worthwhile purchase for family activities. And if anything, it’s entertaining trying to figure it all out!

Bought this in April but use a few times in the house just to familiar myself with the functions. until yesterday, My son start using it to film our day out, and the screen stopped working. You can hear it turn on but nothing displaying. We ensure the the batteries where fully charged prior to the trip. I'm not saying this will happen to your, but for this one it just to stop working like it did, it was a disappointment. I made sure it was handle with care. Plus the 8k is making for stationary filming, any movement and it's like you looking for a serial killer on the most wanted list, Especially for the price. I should have bought two cheaper ones and still have money left over for a drone.

The camera itself looks well made. It's got a lot of nice features. And I am impressed that it includes Night Vision.However, where is the focus? Anything slightly close to the camera is blurred and not in focus.If you hold a book say 10 inches away, the camera can not focus on it. Setting it up to interview someone and I realised their face was not in focus, but only if sat around a meter or so away.This is all wrong, how can an 8K camera not have sharp crisp images unless they are a distance away?Am I doing something wrong?Or is the camera faulty?I can find no focus option on the display.I will happily change my review to 5 stars if this is user error and not a fault with the camera.Please advise.

The included microphone ensures your voice is clear, even if the neighbour’s dog is persistently barking. With built-in WiFi capabilities, sharing your holiday videos becomes effortless. You might encounter some issues with zoom quality at higher magnifications, but it's not a major problem. It offers numerous features and good value. For an amateur looking to improve their photography and videography skills, it provides solid value without putting too much strain on your budget.

Just to get it out of the way, because I believe this is not the seller, but the courier - the package came quite damaged, luckily the contents were intact so I won't deduct any stars.------Okay, A quick read through the manual and I was read to roll. It's a lovely little AVcam with rechargeable microphone and charging cables included.You get a sleek remote control and access to an app also.Now for clarity, the app will want you to connect to the AVCcam NOT your home WiFi. Sounds odd? Not really as it can be remotely controlled from anywhere as the AVCam acts like a mini router.It's easy to set up and use.It's very light and comfortable and big enough to fit most hands with an adjustable strap.
