Good size on my voge 900dsx. Boots up fast and mount very convenient to leave display in top box when out and about. Am using android auto on it which works well, as does waze. Screen res very good and brightness good in daytime light and easily readable. Wired direct, but USB appears to work fine for me. No complaints so far.

I've been looking for a proper navigation and media solution for my bike for ages, as trying to use a phone in a standard mount is fiddly, distracting, and feels unsafe. This Carpuride screen has completely transformed my riding experience. It's not just a screen; it's a full-featured command centre that brings the modern convenience you'd expect in a car to two wheels.The first thing that impressed me was the new BM05 mount. It was incredibly easy to install on my handlebars and feels rock-solid once fitted. The best part, by far, is the quick-release mechanism. It takes literally two seconds to detach the screen and take it with me when I park up, which gives me complete peace of mind against theft—a major concern for any rider leaving their bike in public. The unit itself feels very robust and the IP67 waterproofing means I don't have to worry about getting caught in the unpredictable British rain.In use, the system is flawless. Wireless Apple CarPlay connects to my phone automatically every time I start the bike. The 7-inch screen is fantastic – it's bright, clear, and responsive enough to use with my gloves on. The auto-brightness feature works perfectly, dimming at night and remaining easily visible even in direct sunlight. Having Google Maps or Waze displayed clearly in my line of sight is a massive safety improvement over glancing down at a phone. I got this screen for my stepdad because he rides a BMW touring bike and he absolutely loves it. It lets him use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly when he rides so he can check maps or music without messing with his phone. The screen is waterproof and fits neatly on his bike. He’s grinning every time he rides now. makes his trips feel more connected and a little more futuristic.

Yes this is a remount priced unit and at first glance it appears the same as the much cheaper car play systems for cars (I have one). And in most respects it is. The set up is the same sharing the connectivity via bluetooth and then allowing a bluetooth headset to work in tandem. The apps work seamlessly with google maps doing a good job of keeping up when mounted on a bike. The screen size is a boon as vibration on a phone can impair you seeing turns clearly but on this it is bright. That display not only is it waterproof but it is still very good and easily readable in direct sunlight. You notice that when it’s off as you can see the reflection of the sky until you turn the unit on.Mounting is a little tricky and to unlock the device from the mount took a while to work out, turn key the press in to release.I did start with it powered by USB as I had a cable already but will go for a hardwired set up as i had some intermittency - I am assuming at this stage that it is the wiring and not the unit.Overall very happy, it is expensive but cheaper than losing your phone, easier to read than your phone and safer.If the intermittency is the USB then I would recommend it.

Inizialmente avevo acquistato un altro display Android Auto con sgancio rapido, convinto che fosse l’unico modello con questa funzione. Poi ho scoperto questo!Con il primo ho avuto problemi hardware: collegato via USB si spegneva dopo un po’, e non avendo il tasto di accensione ero costretto a collegarlo direttamente alla batteria, quindi solo sotto chiave (operazione non proprio semplice su tutte le moto). Inoltre aveva diversi limiti di utilizzo.Questo invece è tutta un’altra storia: ha un comodo tasto di accensione/spegnimento e, grazie alla chiave, posso lasciarlo montato anche per brevi pause senza doverlo sganciare ogni volta. Molto più pratico e sicuro. Nota negativa: la chiave è universale per tutti i Carpuride, quindi non è il massimo in termini di sicurezza.Nell’uso quotidiano è nettamente più comodo del modello precedente, perché non costringe al montaggio sotto chiave: lo accendo e spengo quando voglio, anche tramite telecomandino in dotazione (che devo ancora montare perché va fatto passare il cavo smontando mezza moto). Funziona benissimo: luminoso, veloce e reattivo.Ha la luminosità automatica che funziona molto bene, doppio bt che onestamente non uso, collego solo lo smartphone ed a questo poi l'interfono, non vedo l'utilità del doppio bluetooth, faccio tutto da smartphone. Forse con un interfono meno evoluto puo' tornare utile se si viaggia in coppia collegandosi direttamente a lui per condividere ad esempio la musica ma deduco che poi la musica debba essere poi per forza sulla microsd(ipotizzo dato che non è una funzione che ho provato)Unico difettuccio: manca il pinch to zoom. In Google Maps quindi bisogna arrangiarsi con doppio tap o i tasti “+” e “-”. Nulla di grave, per il resto va alla grande.Molto carina anche la possibilità di personalizzare la schermata home con una foto a piacere: serve solo una microSD con l’immagine elaborata da un sito (facile da trovare con una ricerca).In conclusione: consigliatissimo! Nonostante non abbia trovato un attacco specifico per la mia moto, sono riuscito comunque a montarlo senza problemi. L’unica mia preoccupazione è la durata dell’attacco a sgancio rapido, che potrebbe rompersi (in rete già si trovano versioni in metallo). Carpuride a quanto pare manda attacchi rinforzati in caso di rottura, ma secondo me dovrebbero fornirli già di serie!

Tolles Gerät, ist zu empfehlen

Tolles Gerät, koppelt sich schnell mit meinem iPhone und lässt sich gut bedienen, auch mit Handschuhen. Sollte aber direkt mit dem mitgelieferten Kabel an den Dauerplus vom Motorrad, besser noch am Zündstrom angeschlossen werden. USB liefert zu wenig Strom und das Gerät schaltet ab, startet zwar wieder sehr schnell, aber es schaltet sich immer wieder ab. Überlege mir, ob ich noch ein Gerät für meinen alten Audi kaufe. Support reagiert sehr schnell auf Anfragen, auch in Deutsch.

Buen sustituto para un navegador mas antiguo

7 " Tamaño adecuado para motocicleta, compre el de 5" y tuve que devolverlo ya que la pantalla quedaba muy reducida.La pantalla no es como un telefono movil que la imagen ocupa toda la pantalla por completo, en el CarpuRide queda enmarcada en un marco negro que le quita tamaño por eso compre el 702.La respuesta de la pantalla al tocar con guantes, aunque el guante tenga el sistem "touch" en la punta de los dedos, no es muy directa, hay que insistir o directamente no responde y es un problema porque para modificar una ruta o responder una llamada de telefono tienes que pararte y quitare el guante para tocar con el dedo la funcion que te interese.Muy acertado el sistema de conexion compatible con la cuna original de motos BMW, el 502 queda completamente encajado como si fuera el original, aunque ya he comentado que la pantalla se ve más pequeña que el Garmin original de BMW.Para el 702 hay en el mercado paralelo un "ampliador de conexion" que deja la pantalla por encima del marco de la cuna original y que no queda nada mal. CarpuRide deberia plantearse ofrecer esta pieza como accesorio original ya que si la ofrecieran la mayoria de usuarios instalarian el 702 por ofrecer este un tamañao más adecuado para la moto.El precio correcto para lo que ofrece y es un buen sustituto para un navegador de origen. En mi caso el Garmin original de la moto (una BMW RT) cuya funcionalidad ya estaba muy limitada teniendo que programar las rutas a través del PC con el engorroso Base Camp o actualizar radares y carreteras con el Garmin Express.
