Used a few times now and although fiddly the first time, once you get the hang of it it's easy and works great. Used on family and friends cars when servicing the cars for them. Great value.

I found this leak preventer easy to install. One review here mentioned the liquid spraying out when applied due to the system pressure. So I was hesitant but went ahead. I had replaced some components in my A/C system and was about to charge the system from empty (after vacuum purging). I had considered applying the leak stopper before purging or even while under vacuum. However the instructions recommend applying to the charged system. In fact the instructions that come with the product are very informative. The instructions come as an animated video via a QR code. This shows the detailed working of the applicator. The adaptor (R143a in my case) clips onto the low pressure quick-connect port on the car system with a locking ring to secure the connection. Inside the connection adaptor the video shows the working of a ball valve that is sealed by the system refrigerant pressure but is opened by pressure generated from the manually operated pump (syringe). It is simple physics that the leak stopper pressure must be higher than the system refrigerant pressure to inject the leak stopper. This then prevents the refrigerant from escaping during the injection process. The only potential for leaking (spray-back) must be whether the connection adaptor is properly connected and locked in place onto the car quick connect port.So my experience of using the injector was easy and clean. It may be that I did not need to use the leak stopper at all but considering the low price of the leak stopper and the investment I had made in repairing my A/C system (1998 Jaguar XJ) and charging equipment it seemed sensible to avoid more major work if it turned out to have a simple leak.My A/C has been operating now for a month with no noticeable effect on its performance from the leak stopper. During charging the system achieved 5degC at the blower outlets and I've had a cool summer so far!

If you’ve read my BMW 630 reviews before, my car from new is 20 years old now. The aircon had a top up, leaked, used top up sealer and regas, leaked so used this 6ml syringe and regas. Got cold air again now. Will update next year.

In my opinion Its not a DIY product, It can not be applied with a A/C system that is still full of Gas as some have tried, You need a recycling center to create a vacuum, 5 minuets tells you your leak could be repairable, any longer and a component will need to be replaced. I previously filled the system with Nitrogen (Its illegal to release A/C refrigerant into the atmosphere ) within 12 Hrs its showing no pressure. In my case, I waited till the vacuum time was almost at an end, connected the product using the adaptor, it self applied the product,(vacuum sucked the contents of the syringe in ) the recycling center filled the system with 134a refrigerant, I left it running for the time stated, that was 5 months ago, and its still sealed and working correctly. I found the manufactures instructions misleading and vague, 1 * removed. Improved English Q R code instructions required by ERRECOM

The item comes with out the adapters where to be between the AC car pipes and the injection, so you can't use it with out the adapters, and the adapters can't be bought separately, it is a real problem. And I don't know what to do

Appears to have done its job.
So far so good.Used in a 12k BTU unit. Was leaking its Freon over the course of a week. Since putting in the Errcom solution the unit has held steady for three weeks.Time will tell how long this lasts.
Poor sealing on bottle
The seal between the bottle and top leaks during shipping so I only got may a quarter of a bottle.
