I originally bought the Dreamon Electric Circuit Kit for my 5-year-old nephew because he’s always been fascinated by how things work and loves experimenting. While he was excited to open it and start playing, I quickly realized that this kit is probably better suited for slightly older children – around 7 or 8 years old – due to the number of pieces and the level of coordination and understanding required to set everything up correctly.That said, my 9-year-old nephew jumped in and absolutely loved it! The kit comes with 37 pieces and offers over 215 experiments, including fun features like an LED fan, UFO launcher, microphone, and light tower. There’s a lot of variety, and the instructions are clear, which makes it engaging for kids who are ready to follow more complex setups.It’s definitely a fantastic educational toy that encourages curiosity and STEM learning, just something to keep in mind age-wise. A great gift for older kids who enjoy hands-on learning and building.

I'd probably avoid if you don't want an annoyed upset child. Whilst the concept of this is great, the build quality of the product seriously lets it down. The system is all based around Lego type parts but the "fit" quality is very poor and you spend more time trying to re-fit parts to the boards than anything else and doing this usually results in other parts coming back off.Looking through the book there are some interesting things to build and my son was (at first) keen to see these all working. This quicky turned to frustration and anger when building anything with over 3 parts as nothing stays on the board when attaching other bits. If you sort out the "attaching of parts" then this would be a great product, as it currently stands, it not worth buying in my opinion and my son quickly moved onto something else.

My son and I spent an afternoon building a few of the projects and it held his attention far longer than most toys. The clear instructions meant he could follow along without getting frustrated, and he started suggesting his own variations after a couple of builds. The variety kept things fresh — from spinning a fan to making lights react to sound. It encouraged a bit of problem-solving when connections didn’t work the first time, and seeing it come together gave him a real sense of achievement. We’ve left one of the builds set up on his desk so he can show friends, and he’s already planning which one to try next weekend.

This kit is very good for children who enjoy building and experimenting with how things work. There are lots of parts and over 200 experiments, so it gives kids plenty to explore. The instructions are clear and the parts fit together well. My 7-year-old enjoys trying different setups and has spent hours building various projects. It is also helpful for understanding basic science concepts in a fun way.However, it is not suitable for younger children. My 4-year-old could not follow what to do and quickly lost interest. Even with adult help, it was too complicated and not enjoyable for that age group. The kit is best for kids who already show an interest in how things are built or work. It is a great learning toy but not something every child will enjoy.

Lovely circuit play kit for kids. The difficulty level ranges from super easy to hard, so it will have some really nice use and teaching periods with the little girl.Instructions are clear, and it nicely explains the series and parallel circuits. 3 X AA batteries not included though.Not bad overall

For the most part this is a lot of fun.The parts fit together well, and the pieces work well with a popular building block brand.It comes with an instruction book with lots of different circuits to copy and make, my biggest problem is that there is no explanation as to why the circuits work in the way you have built them. So if you have an inquisitive child you will need to seek the answers elsewhere.If you have an older child that understands the circuits then this is a great set to have as a starting point for bigger and better projects.
