I like them, my flatmate said they were too sticky for her. They are made with pectin instead of gelatin, making them stick to your teeth and be more chewy than springy (like gummy bears), which isn't everyone's cup of tea but I like it. That also means they are vegan/vegetarian.According to the package, one day's serving (3 gummies) contains 5g of creatine, 1g of L-taurine and 50mcg of B12 (wildly more than a person needs, but excess B12 is peed out). They are flavored with xylitol instead of sugar, so 3 gummies is only 16kcal.Buying gummies or capsules instead of powder is always going to be more expensive than buying creatine powder. Compared to the creatine powder I usually buy, this one-month supply is roughly 3x the price. So I would only recommend buying these if there is a significant advantage in having them in gummy form for you. And be careful having these around children, they might confuse them for regular candy and have way too many. For example:- The powder is a hassle to dissolve in foods and you would not otherwise bother, or you hate the texture when it doesn't fully dissolve- You tend to get stomach issues (nausea, stomach cramps) from creatine, and the gummies allow you to portion it out over the course of the day easierOne thing I was curious to test with this is whether a loading phase (taking up to 20g of creatine per day) would cause me stomach discomfort. I tend to get nauseous if I put anywhere from 10-20g of creatine powder into a shake, but when I ate 12 gummies (20g creatine) at once, on a mostly empty stomach, I had no issues. I have no idea if this generalises to other people, but could be worth a try if you tend to struggle with stomach issues with regular creatine. Plus, you could always snack 12 over the course of a day.
4.0 out of 5 stars Simple, Bright Blue Bears
Creatine is for me one of the supplements I’ve been taking for years now, and one that I believe does me a lot of good. Over the years it’s been for a number of reasons, like weight training, football, running and cycling but now I just take it as a daily supplement and I think it helps me.If you’d have told me 15 years ago I could save all the faff of making lumpy milkshakes with rudimentary handheld “shakers” that always left a few powdery chewy lumps and replace if with a couple of bear shaped gummies, I would have thought you were a fool, and yet here we are. Isn’t progress wonderful? These bright blue bears promise to deliver the goods with the added bonus of vitamin B12 and L-taurine.The gummies are almost too easy to take, and I wish they were around years ago.Back then I was often gagging on unblended lumps of creatine powder, or gagging at the stench of my shaker bottle that I’d left in my gym bag for a couple of days.. a lot of unnecessary gagging had these have been around. Would have saved on my milk bill too!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Supplement.
I recently picked up these Creatine Monohydrate Gummies with L-Taurine and B12, and I’m very happy with the purchase. Delivery was quick and came the next day, which was great. The price is worth it and actually cheaper than the powder form. The packaging was good and well sealed, so everything arrived safely. I would definitely recommend these gummies, especially for people who hate the taste of creatine powder. These taste just like candy — I’d eat the whole tub if I could because they’re so good, with a nice berry flavour. Plus, the cute bears on the gummies are a fun and adorable touch that makes taking them even more enjoyable.I’ve been taking them for two weeks now, and I do feel more energetic at the gym. They do exactly what they’re supposed to do. The smell is fine too, nothing unpleasant. Overall, a solid product that makes taking creatine way easier and tastier.Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
4.0 out of 5 stars Tasty way to include creatine into your diet!
These gummies are primarily intended for creatine intake towards your diet and daily nutrition :)However , they also come with other beneficial vitamins such as L-Taurine and B12!These gummies can be taken before your workout or even after , and they aim to aid in muscle recovery and healing.I found that these gummies are very effective and are a very easy way to get my daily creatine dose in on the go , without having to use scoops and mix the powder with water! The reason I give these gummies a 4 star rating is most likely quite critical , but I believe that these gummies could have a less sticky consistency just to make chewing them a bit easier.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty damn good!
I’ve been hitting the gym more regularly over the past few weeks and had been using standard creatine tablets (the long large white capsules). They worked fine, but let’s be honest, they’re not exactly fun to take, especially first thing in the morning or after a heavy workout so to be perfectly honest, to be honest these gummies are a much more pleasant alternative. The taste is actually pretty good - fruity without being overly sweet or artificial. I was expecting a chalky or syrupy vibe, but they’re surprisingly smooth and easy to chew. It’s made sticking to my supplement routine a but easier.Performance-wise, they seem to be doing the job just as well as the tablets. I’ve noticed just the same recovery and my lifts have been gradually improving since I’ve been training more heavily and taking these has made no diff v my usual creatine. I just pop a couple in my gym bag in the morning and go.Only downside is that they’re quite easy to snack on - I have to mentally remind myself they’re not sweets (they don’t quite have the sweet taste like you’d get with Haribo, but when you’re training they can be a bit moreish)! Overall, they were a good find. Would definitely recommend for anyone after a more convenient and tasty way to get their creatine in.Pic taken alongside 10p piece to give a sense of scale!
