I am doing a lot of door and window fitting at the moment and although air bags are great, I wanted to try some lifters to see if they work better for my tasks.This pair arrived in a plain box and first impressions where there is some weight which is always a good sign. The design is what I would call middle weight and I am not sure that's enough for the stated 254Kg maximum but I only tested with something weighting 30Kg and that was already hard work.The lifting forks are a little shorter than I would have liked but they would need to be thicker if longer anyway. The only grumble I have with them is quality control seems lacking as the one I received had one screw sticking out of the bottom due to the holes being drilled out of line with part it fits into. I'll take that off and adjust the counter sink but it's not ideal.In use they worked well enough but the short fork parts was an issue for my work as it was easy for them to slip off, so I may be adding some rubber material to see if that helps.

It is okish to lift light weight item but nothing close to what is advertised. The lift flaps are not made of stainless steel or heavy duty metal and bend and buckle under weight. The release mechanism isn't smooth at all. It's pretty much what temu and ali express are selling just 10x more expensive as it's available on Bolo for a quick delivery.

I'm not sure why, but as per the listing photo, these come with a pair of gloves and a tape measure.You can throw the gloves away and you probably already have a branded tape measure but another always comes in handy.The jacks are a substantial weight and build, which gives you peace of mind when lifting heavy items.I used them to lift a very large wooden garden gate into position while I attached it to the wall. It was very heavy and I could barely lift it by myself. I shuffled it into position and got my 2 teenage sons to hold it upright while I jacked it up to the required height using the arms.Even though the gate weighed what felt like a ton, it was easy enough to jack it up, moving back and forward between the two arms. I really couldn't have done this job without them.These will come in really useful and I can highly recommend them.

Great at lifting up large items with confidence. Ideal for getting under the edge of the TV stand, or under the fridge for running a mop, or even a wardrobe to run a cable.Saves skewering the wood at the bottom with a screwdriver and definitely saves a few pinched thumbs!Has a stop at the end so you can't go too far.Oddly mine came with a set of gloves and a tape measure

These feel well made but the lack of attention to detail makes them hard to trust. Protruding screws being the main problem. A scratched floor later and these have already cost me money. I should have checked before using so thats my fault but i never expected something like this to have simple things overlooked.I can see these may have uses but i'm not prepared to take further risks in case there's other safety critical areas that have been glossed over if a few simple screws are hard to notice.
