Instructions could be better, but this creates cold pressed juice very efficiently

The media could not be loaded. Included is a terribly translated instruction manual; had to read it several times to get the gist of what was being said; the manual does include many safety considerations which should be read before using the product. Following the step by step assembly instructions while referring to the parts diagram should be enough to see how everything goes together. But just in case, referring to the parts photo, the steps to assemble goes like this: (1) the filter (part 5) is inserted into the bottom of part 1 with the filter mesh covering the openings, (2) part 2 is set on top of the base/motor (part 7), (3) the spiral piece (part 6) is inserted into the middle of the parts that you just combined and is twisted and pushed down so that it seats all the way on the motor shaft, (4) food container part 1 is placed on top of part 2 with the white arrows aligned and turned to lock it in place. The two parts 3 are containers to catch the juice from one chute and pulp from the other (the manual calls the pulp 'slag'). Part 4, the plunger, is inserted into a hole in the top lid.Once you assemble and disassemble it once, you will never need to refer to the diagrams again, it is pretty intuitive.The top lid has a catch to release it, kind of a trigger at the top of the handhold. I find it sticks a little both when being released and more so when being closed; I am hoping that this latch and its associated catch point will hold up over time. The lid itself feels and sounds a little flimsy, but since there should be not pressure from the juicing process on this part, it'll probably be fine as long is there is no physical shock to the lid.The motor unit is quite heavy which would be expected of a motor that will need exert sufficient force to grind all sorts of foods. The weight also serves to stabilize the unit, which is quite tall, while it is in use. While juicing, the unit is surprisingly quiet, especially compared to other masticating juicers that can be quite loud. The juicing process is not fast, and that is a very good thing. By grinding and juicing slowly, the food and juice do not heat up, which could degrade the nutritional value of the juice. I would gladly wait a few minutes longer to get a really good cold pressed juice instead of a warm or hot one with all the goodness cooked out of it.Cleaning is easy, using the included cleaning brush, which has two types of bristles on one end and a little 'digger' on the opposite end to get into places that food might try to hide. Mostly this consists of rinsing out bits of food after disassembling everything, and giving it a light soapy wash. I would recommend cleaning by hand since some parts might not be dishwasher friendly.I was unsure of this juicer when it was first unpacked and had no idea how or how well it would work. But it is actually amazing and has earned a rare spot on my countertop.

When I faced greater health challenges in recent years, separating pulp from juice seemed too overwhelming for me to tackle so I pretty much had to stick with Vitamix versions of juicing, which pulverizes all fruit & vegetable contents (plus ice & water) into a palatable beverage without discarding any pulp.Nowadays, as that daily ritual's been going on for three years now, having this easy to use pulp extraction juicer at the ready has proven to be a great option to help me stay the course, so that I can alternate between this and not one but TWO entirely different methods of getting hyper-nutrition levels of juicing into my body without ever getting so bored that I risk giving up and straying back to the Standard American Diet (called the SAD diet for a reason)!Happily, this well-designed/easy to clean juice extractor's my "Old Reliable" and has proven itself many times over in terms of juice quality & taste.

I’ve been able to juice nearly an entire quart in one go with this. This can hold a LOT of juice at a time because I actually did a juice with 3 apples, a bag of carrots, and filled the rest of the way up with a full container of spinach and this thing could have probably still fit a little more. I also have noticed that my produce is going so much further because any leftovers that I have I can throw in here and make a quick juice but save money by being able to use up all of my fruits and veggies. Although this is made with plastic, the plastic is a very thick material and the base feels decently heavy. It’s not tipping over at all and even when we have put some of the pieces in the dishwasher, we have had no issues - this thing holds up well despite regular use. We actually had to transport this to a friends house and we didn’t have time to explain how to use it but literally within three minutes they told us that they were able to get this set up and made a quick juice with it without us giving them the rundown so it’s definitely easy to use and takes nearly no time. I’d say from start to finish. We have been able to get a juice done in less than five minutes from cutting the produce to drinking the juice.

I’ve never had a dedicated juicer like this before. It’s been so nice making my own juice! It’s not overly loud and it was easy to get thoroughly clean.I juiced a quarter of a medium watermelon for my photos. It made that whole container of juice! I used some of it to make popsicles with nothing else in them, just watermelon juice. They are so good. It extracts most of the pulp and what is left in the liquid is very fine, like what you’d normally see in the bottom of a store-bought juice.I like that there’s no need for a lot of settings to mess with. It’s all very straight-forward. It works fast as well. I got all of this juiced in about a minute. I am so impressed with the build quality for the price. It has everything I need, too. I’ve had this about 2 months and I know I will be using this for years!
