    A set of three good sized sponges that are easy enough to hold with their shape. They come vacuum packed but do seem to recover their shape fairly quickly. They can we used for both wet or dry use - for wet use they do seem to absorb a good amount of water. The sponges are coloured black and work well.

    I don't have a horse but I do have a pooch who takes great delight in getting right down in the mud and rolling around. After a walk it is not unusual for me to have to clean him down. This pack of three sponges is ideal for such times.The open cell structure is pretty effective at scrubbing him clean, it works much better than the previous denser sponge that I had been using and, as an added benefit, it holds quite a bit of water so that I don't have to return to the bucket too often.Another benefit is, and I know this is purely an illusion, is that the black sponges don't look as grubby as the yellow ones. Even after a trip through the washing machine the yellow ones don't look great.These are quite a large sponge and in that respect I do like the contouring that makes them easier to grip. That means I can give pooch a brisk rub down without losing hold of the sponge.Value wise I think that, at £3.33 each, the sponges represent a decent deal.
