I, like many, enjoy myself a nice cup of team and was intrigued when I saw this offering by Pukka herbs.The listing is for a very nice looking cylindrical box that contains 5 different teas, for a total of 30 sachets.Each tea bag is individually wrapped and presents a unique and strong flavour. My favourite was the lemon, ginger and honey tea, though I found all of them to be pleasant yet unique.At the time of writing, this tea package is priced at £13.69, which I must admit is quite expensive for only 30 bags of tea.Having said that, if you value good presentation or even want to use this as a gift, I think you can at least partially justify the elevated price.Overall, I think this is a great tea set, though definitely not the most affordable option.

Da ich gerne Neues ausprobiere und mich das Lieblingstee-Set der Marke Pukka neugierig gemacht hat, habe ich es zum Testen geordert.Optisch wirkt das Set stimmig und hochwertig. Die liebevoll gestalteten Einzelverpackungen in kräftigen Farben machen direkt Lust aufs Ausprobieren und vermitteln einen modernen Eindruck.Ein Blick auf die Zutatenliste zeigt, dass die Tees zwar viele biologische Kräuter und Gewürze enthalten, allerdings teilweise auch mit natürlichen Aromen versetzt sind – was mich ehrlich gesagt etwas überrascht hat, da ich bei Pukka mit rein pflanzlichen Zutaten gerechnet hätte. Für empfindliche Personen oder Puristen ist das sicher ein Punkt, den man im Hinterkopf behalten sollte. Positiv ist jedoch, dass keine künstlichen Zusätze oder unnötige Füllstoffe enthalten sind.Die einzelnen Sorten machten beim Öffnen einen frischen Eindruck. Der Duft war jeweils klar erkennbar und angenehm – ob nun fruchtig-beerig, kräuterig oder leicht süßlich, jede Variante hatte ihre eigene Duftcharakteristik. Auch die Teebeutel selbst wirken solide verarbeitet und bestehen laut Hersteller aus kompostierbarem Material.Auch Geschmacklich hebt sich jede Sorte auf ihre Weise ab: Der Morning Berry Tee bringt eine dezente Fruchtsäure mit, ohne zu süß zu sein, der Pfefferminztee ist angenehm kühlend und aromatisch, aber nicht scharf. Der Matcha-Tee hat eine zurückhaltende grüne Note, eher mild als herb, und die Honig-Ingwer-Variante ist wärmend mit leichter Schärfe.Was die Verträglichkeit betrifft, hatte ich trotz der Aromen keine Probleme. Praktisch fand ich auch, dass sich einige Sorten gut für Eistee eignen – zum Beispiel die beerenbetonte Mischung oder die Minze, wenn man sie stärker aufbrüht und abkühlen lässt.Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass Pukka auf Bio-Qualität setzt und viele Zutaten aus fairem Handel stammen. Die Kombination aus bekannten und ungewöhnlichen Kräutern ergibt spannende Mischungen, die man nicht überall findet. Dennoch hat mich der Einsatz von Aromen etwas enttäuscht, da ich bei einer Marke wie Pukka mit einem durchweg authentischen Kräuterprofil gerechnet hätte.Zusammenfassend würde ich sagen: Das Tee-Set eignet sich gut für neugierige Teetrinker, die gerne verschiedene Geschmacksrichtungen probieren und dabei Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit und Abwechslung legen.
