IMPORTANT NOTICE: Neocate Junior is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for the dietary management of Cow’s Milk Allergy, Multiple Food Protein Allergies and other conditions requiring an amino acid-based formula, and must be used under medical supervision. The quantity of feed and the dilution of Neocate Junior should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on age, body weight, and medical condition of patient. One level scoop provides 7.3g of powder. The recommended feed concentration is 21.1% w/v (1kcal/ml) – to achieve this, add one level scoop of powder (7.3g) to every 30ml of water. Preparing Neocate Junior: Wash your hands and clean prepration area. Use clean equipment to prepare the feed. Always use the scoop provided in the tin. Measure the required amount of warm or cool water into a container. Please note: Neocate Junior is best served chilled. Add the prescribed number of scoops of Neocate Junior into the water. Cover and shake or whisk until the powder has been dissolved.Once prepared, refrigerate and consume within 24 hours. Any formula remaining in the container after one hour of feeding should be discarded. Shake or stir the feed immediately before serving. Caution: Do not boil prepared formula.
