This touch display rack mount monitor is made of sturdy materials and the screen size is 7.84 inches. It’s easy to use and has a user-friendly touch surface. The monitor delivers a smooth and reliable performance which I like.

This LCD monitor comes neatly packaged and is specifically designed as a rack mount for the DeskPi RackMate range of server racks. Technically there’s nothing overly specific to the range other than being a perfect fit for size, which tends to be a fairly standard formula in the industry so you could definitely use it on other platforms if needed. It comes with the mounting screws required to attach it to the top of your rack which takes literally 2 minutes with the 4 screws and it comes with both a USB cable for power and HDMI cable for connecting into the rack with to get the display up and running. All of these cables are hidden behind so it looks neat from the front albeit does use up space on the rack of course. It offers a responsive screen that primarily offers server monitoring out of the box including key metrics like temperature to ensure there is good server uptime and no disaster heading your way! It’s very simple to install and use as a plug and play device even so it certainly hits on simplicity first which is a good thing. It’s a well made solid piece and given screens are typically expensive and this is more than just that, it’s a reasonably priced contraption.

Il fonctionne super bien.L'alimentation se fait en USB-C donc possibibilité de brancher les 2 cordons sur un PC ou un NAS dans mon cas où un raspberry.Compatible avec baie de brassage de 10 pouces.Facilite la vie pour la gestion des appareils nécessitant un accès écran. Dans ce cas l'écran de petite taille en fait un appareil compact et facilement intégrable dans une baie réseau.Pas de connexion étrange, que du HDMI.Je conseille cet appareil de bonne qualité a prix contenu.
Attenzione al rapporto di aspetto
Questo monitor ha un rapporto di aspetto piuttosto estremo, con una risoluzione orizzontale pari a 1280 punti in orizzontale, ma solo 400 in verticale.Utilizzato con Windows non si riesce ad ottenere una visualizzazione utilizzabile, perchè il desktop stesso risulta molto deformato e lo schermo perde parecchio in leggibilità.Purtroppo non sono riuscito a trovare driver adatti per windows per cui non lo consiglierei in ambiente pc.Con il raspberry per esempio, impostando manualmente la risoluzione dello schermo si riesce ad ottenere una qualità di visualizzazione decisamente migliore.In entrambi gli ambienti (windows e raspberry) il touch ha funzionato non appena collegato alla porta usb (che fornisce anche alimentazione al monitor), rispondendo al tocco in maniera precisa, senza necessità di alcuna calibrazione.Purtroppo il fatto di avere un'unica porta usb per alimentazione e touch rappresenta un pò un limite perchè in caso di sorgente con corrente erogata bassa, non sarà possibile alimentare correttamente il monitor stesso
Perfecto para la raspberry
The media could not be loaded. Lo he pedido para usar con la raspberry pi y así tener un panel táctil donde tener información útil como domótica, tareas, tiempo, entre otros.Me ha sorprendido mucho porque la pantalla se ve genial, aunque al tener una resolución extraña, hay que adaptarlo todo a esa resolución.Me gusta también que no es necesario instalar nada, es conectar hdmi y usb y listo, ya esta funcionando en la Raspberry.Para mi esta genial. Para cosas como tener alguna info en algo que no ocupa casi espacio.

Caution
Unit itself works as intended. Ships with NO screen protection nor can I find any to fit. if using with the 1U duel pi5 accessory you will need at least two 90 degree HDMI adapters as using the provided cables causes a bend in the cable and forcibly separates the two pi's on an angle. Again, the unit itself works just fine.
