The media could not be loaded. This controller is beautiful!The screen is very clear, packed with load of features. Control the Rgb, vibration intensity, recalibrate triggers and thumb sticks. The list goes on.I've only ever used xbox official controllers, the latest being the elite 2. This honestly feels better.My only quarrel is the triggers feel alittle spongey.The face buttons (A,X,Y,B) feel like mechanical keys. Al ittle strange to get used to at first. But after an hour of gaming, I don't think I could go back.The charging station is perfect. Great size and it turns off the controller when you place it on the dock. Battery life seems more than adequate. The longest session I've done so far is 4 hours and it's not even used half of the battery life.Honestly. Choose this over an elite controller, you won't regret it.

This is a well made Xbox style controller with tonnes of features, some of which I'm not particularly interested in.The controller is of a familiar design and comfortable to hold. It's slightly heavier than most controllers I've used due to the dense, high quality plastic and the inclusion of the LCD screen. It looks pretty interesting with the transparent sections and the RGB lighting on the sides. It's not for everyone, but it's certainly a unique looking device.Setup with the included dongle worked instantly on my windows PC. Connection is really quick from turning on the controller and the input lag seems negligible for a wireless controller. I certainly haven't felt hampered by it, and I haven't had any disconnection issues.The screen is an interesting inclusion that I have mixed feelings about. It allows a good degree of customisation on the controller itself, allowing key mapping, vibration settings, and more. It's stuff that you'd normally need a dedicated app for (or a mess of buttons on the controller itself), so in that sense it's really useful, especially if you're not using the controller with a PC. Personally, I probably don't need it and I'd like to turn it off to preserve battery life. It'd be great if you could toggle the screen on and off by pressing one of the function buttons. Unfortunately, you can only lower the brightness.Battery life seems good, however, so it's not a huge issue. There's a nice charging dock with a space for hiding the wireless receiver. It seems like a missed opportunity that the dock doesn't also act as a wireless dongle. Probably a cost consideration not to add another usb interface to plug in the dongle.In terms of controls, the controller offers pretty crisp feedback, with a nice click on the face buttons and a decent Dpad. The R1/L1 buttons feel a bit 'short' to me compared to other controllers, but I got used to them pretty quickly. The travel for the triggers can be set using a couple of levers at the back of the controller. The analog sticks work well and I didn't notice any drift.Overall, it's an impressive controller for the price, especially considering how expensive less fully featured controllers are going for at the moment.

Third party controllers have historically not been great, so I was a bit skeptical on how a £70 third premium one would function, but I have actually been really impressed with this Mamba controller.I have a bit of a niche use case, in that I'm using this on a MacBook, playing emulated Switch games. It's been no problem for this controller though, setting it to 'Switch' mode, it connects via Bluetooth to my Mac just fine, and the game software recognises it as a Switch Pro Controller - fantastic as it means I don't need to manually map each button.The actual controller feels nice in my hand and has been comfortable for long periods. I personally prefer my PS5 controller, but my girlfriend prefers the ergonomics of this Mamba, so it seems pretty much personal choice. The design in black is simple but looks cool - there are side LEDs (customisable in colour and effect), but that's not my sort of thing so I'm happy to report you can turn them off. The microbuttons are clicky and instant, whilst the joysticks feel smooth and are accurate - hall effect joysticks too which are way better than the Switch's OEM ones, and shouldn't all into drifting either.Having a screen built in has been an absolute joy and I've found it really useful in terms of remapping buttons on the go and actually being able to see how much battery left first hand. I do wish I could turn the screen off whilst gaming, but you can only dim it so be warned. The charging stand is also great, (also doubles as storage for your 2.4 wireless receiver) and it's made it into a nice place to store my controller too.All in all, this has been perfect for me on my Mac and I can't fault its actual functions. Button remapping is easy to do on the screen itself, and if replacing a Switch Pro Controller I really wouldn't look past this.
