I'd been advised to keep an eye on my blood sugar levels, after a recent blood test. So I purchased this kit, as it seemed well described and easy to use.The product arrived and I was pleased to find that the kit was contained in a pouch, which made it easy to carry and pack when traveling. Being new to this kind of testing, I was also impressed by the instructions provided in the kit, where were well written and easy to understand.It was quite easy to load the lancet with the supplied tips (you get 10 disposable tips included), and you can control the depth of penetration of the lance, in order to draw the correct quantity of blood. I actually found it more effective to puncture the side of my finger rather than the tip, as it produced a better sample of blood from a shorter depth.The machine then analysed the sample very quickly and displayed the results on the easy to read digital display. Whilst I have nothing to compare the readings to, it was within the same ballpark as my previous readings from a drawn blood test in the lab.As somebody who has never done daily blood sugar testing at home before, I found the kit easy to use and understand, thanks to the user guides which are supplied with the product.

This Gochek2 connect blood glucose testing unit is a really reasonably priced kit perfect for at home monitoring of blood glucose levels. It’s Bluetooth feature syncs easily with the app allowing long term storage of readings (up to 500 readings) for easier monitoring of blood glucose levels over time or for checking the bodies reaction when eating certain foods.The downside to this unit is that although you get the pen, reading unit and storage bag for a really low price you do only get 10 lancers and 10 testing strips which is a comparatively small number. A replacement pack of 100 strips and lancers currently costs circa £22 which is t a bad price compared to other brands but it does significantly add to the cost of the kit.

A good, clear item at a good price. I do think the included number of strips and lancets could be more generous, so I dropped a star for that, but otherwise great, and having checked on Bolo, the strips are available in packs of 100 at a very decent price.

I’ve been using this blood sugar monitor kit for a little while and it is really convenient. I like that it does not require any coding so it is very straightforward to use, even for family members who are not tech-savvy. The Bluetooth works well and makes it easy to keep all readings on my phone. It stores up to 500 measurements which is great for tracking over time. The wider HCT range is useful since we have a few people in the family using it. It comes with strips and lancets so you can start right away. Overall it makes managing and checking blood sugar a lot simpler.

I'd never used a blood sugar monitor before as I'm not diabetic but was interested in getting one to monitor blood sugar levels as part of general diet and health monitoring.It has a very comprehensive set of instructions, which are slightly daunting at first but they're quite clear and it's easy enough to figure out. It took a few goes for me to get the blood into the test strip but having got the hang of it it works well.The kit also comes with a paper booklet for recording scores. Comes in a neat carry case and packs away well. Really happy with it overall.Only downside is it only comes with 10 strips, and I got through a few messing it up the first couple times.
