Great device - works seamlessly with the ubiquiti wifi system in my house. I use this one in my office mounted on the ceiling with POE connection. Delivers perfect performance and speeds matching main router.If you have the capability of installing POE routers such as this, it is 10x better than a wifi mesh system which has many limitations. With POE access points, you don't get any congestion as all data is sent and received via the ethernet cable, improving reliability and stability especially under high demand.I have an entire ubiquiti wifi setup throughout my house and garden with different models for different purposes.2x U7-Outdoor to cover front and rear garden with perfect wifi signal.1x UK-Ultra to cover entrance hall as does not need fastest speed.1x UX7 as main AP in living room1x U7-Lite for office1x U6+ for garage

It’s an inexpensive access point that does what it’s supposed to do. It is designed to function within a UnIfi system, but can be used stand alone as part of any other network setup if you have a modicum of technical ability. If any of this causes you anxiety, this is not a product for you.

Works exactly as needed for extending wifi to the office (separate building to the house) without having to pay additional charges to our broadband provider.Very easy to set up too which helps!

I am loving unifi kit at the moment. Came from high end deco's after months of issues and this kit is working spot on!!I got 2 7 Pro and 2 7 Lite and to be fair the lite ones are perfect on a network with nearly 100 devices including lots of IoT and in a location with a silly amount of channel congestion these seem to works great. So far so good will update this if that changes :)

It just works! Integrated easily in to my existing Unifi network and works really well as far as I can tell. I don’t have any Wi-Fi 7 devices to validate that that yet, but I have no reason to believe there’ll be a problem.Ok potentially not the easiest to set up, (I have a server running the unifi controller software) but once it’s running it’s great. My other AC pro access point has been running flawlessly for many years.

Connects straight into your existing Unifi network, brilliant for all your current devices, and only missing the 6Ghz but hardly anything is using that at the moment. Great entry level Wifi 7 device that maintains legacy connectivity, and it connects at 2.5Gbs to your switch.
Combi of AP points used. and never have wireless mesh turned on. it will be poor
Very good coverage. Bought this first and then a U7 Long Range. pretty good signal but the AC LR was still better in signal stability. Don't need the pro if u are normal user. A LR for 1000Sq ft or 2 Lites for 1100-1200 sqft dependent on furnishing.

Dopo anni di utilizzo della rete mesh integrata del mio FritzBox e relativi ap, ho deciso di fare il grande salto verso una soluzione professionale optando per l'Ubiquiti U7 Lite come primo access point della gamma UniFi. Devo dire che la differenza è stata immediatamente evidente e più che positiva.Copertura e qualità del segnale eccellentiQuello che mi ha colpito maggiormente è la copertura del segnale Wi-Fi, nettamente superiore rispetto alla soluzione mesh precedente. L'U7 Lite riesce a garantire una connessione stabile e veloce anche negli angoli più remoti della casa, dove prima il segnale del FritzBox faticava ad arrivare con intensità sufficiente.La qualità della connessione è un altro punto di forza: zero disconnessioni improvvise, latenza ridotta e velocità costanti durante tutto l'arco della giornata. Anche con più dispositivi connessi contemporaneamente, le prestazioni rimangono sempre ottime.Avendo, poi ridotto il numero di ap anche il risparmio energetico in idle di casa mia è evidente.Prime impressioni di un nuovo utente UbiquitiEssendo il mio primo approccio con l'ecosistema Ubiquiti, inizialmente ero un po' preoccupato per la complessità di configurazione rispetto alle soluzioni consumer tradizionali. In realtà, una volta installata l'app UniFi Network, il setup è risultato sorprendentemente intuitivo e l'interfaccia di gestione offre un livello di controllo e personalizzazione che non avevo mai avuto prima.L'esperienza con questo U7 Lite è stata così positiva che sto già pianificando l'espansione della rete con altri access point della stessa linea. L'idea è quella di creare una vera e propria rete unificata che possa garantire copertura ottimale in ogni ambiente, sfruttando le funzionalità di roaming seamless che solo un sistema professionale come UniFi può offrire.Se state pensando di abbandonare le soluzioni mesh tradizionali per passare a qualcosa di più performante e affidabile, l'Ubiquiti U7 Lite rappresenta un eccellente punto di ingresso nell'ecosistema UniFi.
