Excellent quality, organic matcha powder. It's bright green and mixes easily, no lumps. Tastes good and fresh, not bitter. Used it for matcha lattes and it works well in baking too. Good value for the price. Very pleased. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would certainly recommend.

First try of this, I was worried I'd used water that was too hot because the bitterness was a bit overpowering compared to other matchas.Second try I was especially careful to pay attention to the temperature, and at 80 degrees C there was still an element of bitterness that was a bit intrusive.For people who value bitterness in their tea (maybe if they're adding it to something that is already sweet), that might be a positiveThis does have a bit more intensity to the earthy-planty matcha-flavour than other comparable products.But for people who value the subtle sweetness and prioritise the richness of the umami in their matches, this might not be the best choice - especially if you're reluctant to use even lower temperatures (say, 70 degrees) to try and keep the bitterness suppressed.

I really like that they include preparation guidelines on the packet, suggesting combining 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of matcha with 60ml warm (not boiling) water, mixing / whisking till frothy and then topping up with milk or hot water. I like mine with a bit of sweetener too. Apparently 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp is about 1g of matcha, so in a 100g packet there may be about 100 cups of tea.This is a small packet of matcha, so quite expensive for the amount you get, but it is organic so I guess that may explain the price a little.When I drink this, I like knowing that matcha is rich in antioxidants (catechins eg EGCG) and that it has some caffeine in it so can help with alertness. Apparently in 1g of matcha (which is about 1/2 - 1 tsp) there is 35-70mg of caffeine, so one cup of that a day is good. According to an internet search it tells me that 3-4g of matcha would have about 105-140mg of caffeine which is the upper daily limit for most people. The internet tells me more than that is not recommended as it can strain the liver. So green tea is best in moderation. Maybe 1-2 cups a day is good.As I was reading about green tea for this review I also found out that apparently green tea can reduce iron absorption so it's best not to drink it alongside iron-rich foods, and people with already low iron levels / anaemia should take care of this in particular. Also people with GERD and acid reflux should be aware the caffeine in green tea may not agree with them.

This is a bag of 100g finely ground green tea powder which is specially processed from shade-grown tea leaves. The tea powder is organic and ceremonial grade that is a vibrant and bright green. You can mix the matcha powder with hot water, then add milk and sugar to make a nice latte. Alternatively, you just add hot water to make a normal unique matcha tea drink. The powder will also be suitable to add into your baking ingredients to make matcha cake or mochi. Matcha is a healthy drink which contains less caffeine compared to coffee. The tea powder came in a resealable bag. Once it is opened, I keep the bag in a airtight container to keep its freshness and flavour. It's a high quality tea powder though pricey.

I ordered the Tea Masters Organic Matcha Tea Powder. This is a really nice ceremonial grade matcha powder. It is lovely and green and very fine. It comes in a 100g resealable pouch and contains enough matcha for quite a few cups. I like to whisk mine with soya milk. I can definitely recommend it.

When I cracked open the bag I was greeted by wonderful grassy green herbal scents that is typical with matcha. Lovely scented and make a great cup of matcha tea. I do find it quite pricey though. It is good but very expensive. If you don't mind splashing out then ok but otherwise this might be a bit spendy for you.

Delicious matcha. Been using to make matcha latte. I have been making it with the proper bamboo whisk and ceramic bowl and it comes out really frothy and delicious.I've been using 5g and 50ml of water to make 2 cups of matcha then topped up with milk to taste. Will last a long time as I am only using a tiny bit at a time. It has a delicious, fragrant scent that I enjoy even without any sugar or sweetener.Would buy again.
