Very powerful extractor, working a treat set up with my smart home system via a smart plug!Fully recommend!Good value for money & great airflow per hour! Much better than ones costing the same or even higher!!A really decent product!!It's noisier than the less powerful extractor on the market, but I have this installed in my bedroom & my partner & I can sleep through it! (Everyone is different though)But if you put this in your kitchen or bathroom, then you'll be more than happy with the results

Brilliant, keeps room from getting too hot. Will be putting another upRead reviews before and was mislead, people complaining it was no good but they were expecting a cooling fan.this is not a fan it is an extractor and works very well.

I'm questioning the accuracy of some of the other reviews here, because it seems like some of them have 'misunderstood' how this fan works.Out of the box, it's configured to suck air in through the grill and blow it out through a simple non-return valve. If you put the grille on the outside of your shed / workshop / kitchen, it will suck air in from outside and blow it into the building.I really needed it to work the other way, so I could suck paint fumes out of my workshop and send them outside. If I put the grille on the inside wall, all the guts of the fan would be exposed to outside, including the electrics. I could make some spacers and buy a second grille for the outside, but it was actually easier to just turn the entire motor around inside the duct and take the now-redundant non-return valve off.It's all held together with a few screws, which looks a bit dodgy and probably is. However, it all goes back together to make an extractor fan instead of a blower. For a really professional job I could attach a length of 150mm (not 100 as another reviewer suggests) ducting with a turndown right over the area where I'm painting. I don't really need to, as I don't paint all that often.The airflow is adequate. It's not going to suck all the air out of the workshop and suffocate me, but it's enough to cycle out the fumes in a few minutes.Overall, it's not exactly what I needed, but a bit of tinkering worked wonders. It's doing what I needed it to do and it's good value.

Easy to install, well built and has a good flow.Things that could be improved:The hinged doors to prevent back flow are a little bit flappy when not in use.The power cord could be longer.Having said that, at this price it's a bargain.

I wanted this to create a mini fume cupboard the catch some of the reside from spray painting models. For that it works very well. It pulls enough air out of that small space that it keeps the fumes away from me and I can move my spray painting into the shed rather than waiting for nice days when I would do it outside. You will almost certainly need some 100mm ducting because that is what these are designed for (fortunately I had some left over from previous ventilation projects)The construction is obviously cheap with the thinnest metal panel over the top of this. The side entrance of the mains cable is a little annoying because in most cases you would want the cable to come through the front as you are going to plug this into a wall socket. Fortunately not an issue in my case as a fume cupboard build means running the cable from behind was the better option but, in most cases, taking the cable behind would mean going through the wall!Recommended for hacker project constructions, for which it ideal, not so much recommended for kitchens.

So I got this to improve the ventilation in my resin printing room. I have an Alexa air purity sensor and obviously when I’m doing resin printing it’s picking up on quite a few particulars particularly during the curing process which requires you to do some iso alcohol rinsing, because I’m doing this in a small room outside I’m usually wearing a mask in order to filter out any harmful particular that might be around. This van offered a solution that was super simple to install.As the product description states this fan has got some serious pull, and I’ve seen it all to the air purity in a room on the monitor from very high in the red to good on the spectrum about three particles in under a 2 minutes. Because it works off a standard or off switch there’s no reason why you couldn’t rewire this to work on a pool cord like those it’s seen in a bathroom to control its functionality.i’m tempted to have a go at adjusting the speed so that it can adapt to the air purity then I’m experiencing in the room so if Alexa notices that the purity rise is too high, I’ll have a routine that turns the fan up and if it’s low, the fan will go low.The fan does have a duck on the back, which makes it really easy to fit to an external flap to prevent wind from travelling back through the vent when it’s shut off. It is the standard depth. The bell qualities is great. I can’t see any floors and it’s given an excellent finish. Motor run smooth and relatively quiet in comparison to its speed.The exterior fitting is flush with all fittings on the rear being your standard 100mm.
