I picked up this scooter for my five-year-old as a way to encourage more outdoor playtime and help build balance and coordination. He’d been eyeing up the scooters at the park, and I figured it was time to get him one of his own that could grow with him over the next couple of years.First impressions were good. The blue colour is bright and cheerful, and the build feels solid. The handlebar is easy to adjust with a simple button press, which is ideal for a growing child. My son found it comfortable to grip, and the foam handles are soft enough for smaller hands without being flimsy. The three-wheel design gave him immediate confidence, and he was able to start gliding about with very little hesitation. It’s a great way to teach balance without the usual spills that come with two-wheel scooters.He’s used it both indoors and outside, and it handles surprisingly well on slightly uneven pavement. There’s none of that irritating rattling sound you get with cheaper models, and the wheels do a good job of smoothing over minor bumps. The deck is wide enough for him to stand securely with both feet when he’s coasting, and I really appreciate the steel frame with anti-rust coating since we live in a damp part of the UK.It folds up nicely and is light enough for me to carry on walks to the park or chuck in the car boot. I will say that the folding mechanism, while smooth, needs a bit of strength to activate, so I wouldn’t expect a younger child to manage it on their own.Overall, it’s a well thought out scooter for young kids and makes a brilliant present. The only thing I’d add is that it would be nice if it came with a little bell or some reflective detailing for extra safety, especially if used near roads or in the evenings. That said, it's been a hit with my son and definitely gets him excited to head outside.

The build quality of this scooter is good for the price, and the adjustable handlebar makes it suitable for different heights. It works well for my 4-year-old and rides smoothly. I like the foldable design so it can be easily stored away. At £28.99, I think the price is reasonable considering the performance and quality.
