Like many others I started cutting my own hair over lockdown and just never really stopped, and coming from one of the cheapest Wahl clippers I was pretty intrigued to see the difference at over 6x the price.To be frank they're much much better, sharper and 'cleaner' cuts which allow for much better tapering of neck and sideburns. In truth they're very much overkill for my use case, (standard cut all over) and I'd hazard a guess and say that the 'professional' title is probably quite apt in this product as for 6x the price the cheaper home versions will do.Like others have mentioned the lack of case and guard lengths is a shame, in particular the lengths as this basically leads you into skin fade / 'younger' styles that not all will like.

5 years ago I started cutting ym own hair and purchased a cheap and cheerful set of clippers of dubious heritage, these have been replaced a few times over the years. When I received these they're in a different league! Feel incredibly solid and so robust. The cut is noticeably closer than my no name ones and very quiet in use. They effortlessly tidied up my neckline and made light work of my overgrown stubble with the power.Yes, they're expensive but I have spent more than this over the year yet I fell I would never have to replace these they feel so good.My only gripes are the lack of inclusion of larger guides than a few mm. Also despite the price tag there is no storage case or even a carry bag which would be a nice finishing touch.

During lockdowns husband couldn’t get a barber’s appointment so I started doing his hair with some general clippers. I was very very curious to see how these would feel considering they’re like 5 times the price.So, I did his hair a few days ago and I swear this is the best haircut I’ve ever given him.These clippers FEEL fancy. They don’t just look great - and they do - but they feel great. Made well; perfectly weighted and ergonomic.And they’re so precise.The battery level on them is fab, and the noise level is about normal so not much to say there. But they’re so easy to use, and the precision of the cut is different - better. Like there’s neater lines.It could genuinely be that I’ve just gotten better at using clippers over the last 4 years, but this is easily the best haircut I’ve given him, and I’m pretty sure it’s because of these.Are they worth the cost? Eh. I mean, probably not. But between how lovely they look and feel, and how brilliant they are, if these are in your budget, they’re a great buy.

I've been really impressed with how well this set performs. The trimmer is sharp, powerful and makes quick work of tidy-ups around the back and sides of the head. It's easy to handle and the wide T-blade gives a clean line, great for detail work and short fades. The battery life is excellent too - long enough that I don't have to worry about recharging mid-cut. The included foil shaver is a nice bonus and works well for finishing touches or keeping stubble in check.Having said all that, for the price, I do think a proper storage case should have been included. Everything arrives in a plain cardboard box, which doesn't really suit a kit marketed as professional-grade. I've had cheaper non-branded sets of clippers before and they've all come with EVA foam cases.Also, the guard selection is limited to just three sizes (0.5, 1, and 1.5), so I've had to purchase some additional guards as I normally use grades 3 and 4. Still, if you're mainly after precision and short styles, this is a very good choice!

I appreciate that these are supposed to be salon grade but it's very expensive and doesn't come with a variety of clippers. The build quality and the sharpness are the best I've seen, but only having clippers for 0.5, 1 and 1.5 seems an odd choice, especially as I like a number 4.Given the size of the trimmer and the blade selection, I assume this is meant for detailing rather than a whole head shave.

This trimmer is a high-quality wahl trimmer that cuts so smoothly. It don't come with a storage case, which is a bit of a shame but nothing major. It comes with a variety of different accessories to get the nice close cut that is wanted, including a T blade for perfect lines. The trimmer is a bit weighty to hold but it feels nice and smooth in the hand and the battery life so far has lasted really well. I think this is a fantastic trimmer that is pricey but worth the higher price tag. It is a nice sleek design and not overly noisy. I am really happy with it and would highly recommend it.

I've been cutting my own hair for years. Number 2 or 5mm all over my head and beard has done me for the last 25 years or so. This trimmer comes with a few attachments, the one of interest to me is the longest one a 1.5 grade comb for the trimmer it's just about right for me. It gives a very even cut and didn't get caught on anything, even though I hadn't shaved my head for several weeks. It also comes with a single foil electric shaver, it's okay and comes with a replacement foil.Everything you need is in the pack. It is quite expensive, and I was quite surprised that the metallic part is just coated plastic and not stainless steel for the cost. It feels nice and heavy, but not noticeably heavier than a cheaper trimmer that I own. Hopefully it will continue to work for years.
