5.0 out of 5 stars CITY SPORTS TREADMILL
This is paying dividends for my wife on her way to recovery from a strokeShe was using a treadmill at her rehabilitation course, but when that came to an end, We decided to purchase one so she could continue her recoveryThe size of the treadmill is ideal for using in our living roomWhen I opened the package all I needed to do was cut the cellotape holding it in the box remove the polystyrene packaging then just slip it out the plastic bag, assembly is straight forward loosen the circular retaining bolts two turns then the contol section raises into position then you just tighten the circular retaining bolts up again, the the handle part with the controls justs lowers down and clicks into position.Build quality is a high standard in my opinionNoises level is very acceptableStorage is very easyThe remote control via the app on a mobile works without any issues, but truthfully she just use the controls that's in front of you anywayThis treadmill is a no frills machine for basic exercise which is all she wantedFor the money I don't think you can beat itOne thing when looking for a treadmill that wouldn't brake the bank we chose this because many in the price range didn't have support handles in case of a mishap whe using it
5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous
Absolutely amazing love this so much, great value for money, perfect size and can fold away great for little space, it’s not at all noisy and the build quality is fantastic very happy with purchase definitely recommend
4.0 out of 5 stars Great
Compact and fairly lightweight. Easy to move around on the coasters (one end). Simple to set up and use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good value
Great value treadmill. Comfortable for walking and running. The handle bar tray is wide enough to stand my laptop on so I can work while walking at a gentle pace. The minimum speed is 1kmh, going up in 0.5kmh increments to 12kmh, with quick buttons for 3, 6 and 9kmh. The manual incline creates a more real-world effort demand. I’ve kept a piece of the packaging box to make it easier to slide under the sofa when not in use. The screen gives basic speed, distance, time and calorie data which is rotates through. With the app installed on a phone and connected via Bluetooth all info can be displayed on the phone screen.
5.0 out of 5 stars It’s a good quality
This treadmill has many features such as 12 speed settings, calories, time and distance. It also has Bluetooth which you can connect and listen to music. It is also easy to set up and easy to put away. This treadmill doesn’t take up many spaces. It is also very quiet when using this treadmill .my children are enjoy their exercise times.
1.0 out of 5 stars Awful sound.
The media could not be loaded. After no more than five minutes of use, the treadmill is making this awful sound with no apparent reason.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for me
Easy to assemble and perfect for my needs. Not to heavy and can be moved around as needed. I work from home alot and this is a great way to get my steps in while working. I often have my laptop set up on the stand when watching training webinar. Very useful!
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product
Bought this shortly after purchasing the Mosuny Vibration Plate.I’m so pleased with the ease of set up and use of this treadmill/walking pad. Exercising at home allows me to increase my muscle strength while also getting the laundry, cooking and other household chores done. I have not used the incline feature yet. I am currently walking at 3.5kmh with a short push at 4kmh if I want to do a mild jog. I enjoy this treadmill and other floor exercises. Following on from these, I use my vibration plate to relax my muscles and reduce pain and puffiness.
Excellent small treadmill, but it does not go under a desk
I'm not sure why the product description calls this an underdesk treadmill. The upright console cannot be removed, as far as I can tell. The console can be folded down for storage, but the treadmill would not be usuable in the folded state.Apart from that inaccuracy, this is a great treadmill. It goes from 0.6 mph to 7.8 mph (1 km/h to 12.55 km/h).The display is only in miles per hour, though. The speed can be adjusted in increments of 0.2 mph. There are also 3 quick setting buttons to skip directly to 3, 5, or 7 mph. When the start button is pressed, the treadmill counts down 3, 2, 1, and then begins. The increases or decreases in speed happen gradually. When the stop button is pressed, the treadmill decreases speed gradually, rather than coming to an abrupt halt. The treadmill is very quiet at low speeds, but gets increasingly loud as the speed increases. If using it for walking while working on a laptop, the speeds below 2.6 are very quiet and the noise would not interfere with video conference meetings. The console uses a red LCD display. It rotates among speed, distance, calories, and time.I like that the vertical part of the console can be laid flat, allowing a laptop to be placed on the console. The console also has indentations for holding a cup, one on either side. There is also a trough in which a phone or tablet can be placed, to lean up against the vertical part of the console.I really like the handlebars. There are front ones and side ones to hang onto. I find if I'm watching TV while walking on the treadmill, it is safer to hang onto the handlebars, as this treadmill is both narrower and shorter than a standard treadmill, and I have stepped too far to the side, off the belt, while watching the TV. I've also drifted too far back and come off the end of the treadmill. Hanging onto the handlebars keeps me centered and prevents me from sliding off the back. There is a safety tether. If the tether is disconnected from the console, the treadmill comes to an immediate stop. (Normally, the slow down is much more gradual if the "stop" button is pressed.)There is an option to connect with a phone via bluetooth. An app can be downloaded to use with the treadmill. There are more functions available on the phone app than on the physical console. For instance, on the phone app, the language be changed, the distance can be measured in km, and targets can be set.In summary, this is a relatively inexpensive treadmill that is easy to fold and can be stowed under a bed or dresser. It goes up to speeds much higher than those of walking pads. The console has a dedicated slot for inserting a phone or tablet. The upright part of the console can be folded flat so that a laptop can be placed on the flat surface. However, beware that this is NOT an underdesk treadmill, as the upright posts of the console cannot be removed. My one complaint is that the power cable is really short, just over 4 feet. You have to be really close to a wall outlet, or use a power bar with a long cord, to plug it in.5/5 Highly recommended (as long as you're not looking for an underdesk model).
A slick compact and lightweight no-frills workout machine….
The CITYSPORTS under desk treadmill with elevated handrails and LCD display is a portable exercise machine capable of supporting a healthy and cardiac supportive lifestyle. This machine is ideal for participants who need a treadmill for moderate use.Let’s start with the tech specs. The treadmill occupies an approximate footprint 1000 mm long and 400 mm wide. Anyone who can use this machine will likely also have no problem lifting, positioning or carrying this 28 kg device, or keeping up with the 12 km/h top speed. The product designers were still able to include several nice features despite the limited size and price for this device. This includes an upward facing LCD display to provide the user with real-time performance updates for time, distance, calories burned, and speed. A handy little remote control about the same size as a car key remote allows the user to have control over the treadmill functions in the palm of their hand at all times during operation. As we learned in high school physics, Einstein’s first law is that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it is simply converted into another form of energy. In the case of the present product, this machine uses a 1400 Watt, 3 hp motor to transfer the energy created by the person using the device.Power is supplied through a direct connection to 110 V standard household power. The treadmill is rated for persons up to 265 pounds, and those more inclined to be both heavy users, and heavier builds will find comfort that this machine’s 1400 Watt motor easily trumps many peer units that only have 400 Watt power packs. This reviewer acquired this treadmill for a wonderful spouse who greatly enjoys walking and has active restless leg syndrome (RLS), a medical condition that brings bouts of involuntary leg twitching and fidgeting. She counters this with near constant movement and walking, including during otherwise normal sleep hours when this sleep-robbing affliction is often at its peak.Instead of pacing around the house in the middle of the night, relief can now be had by jumping on this very quiet machine until the symptoms subside. The treadmill has been a real game changer for her, allowing better sleep habits and improving the quality-of-life overall. Overall cardiovascular health also receives a boost. She is more accustomed to a traditional treadmill and occasionally misses some of the features such as tilt, and the customary upright full front control module and side handles. The overall feel and foot padding of the present unit was rated quite acceptable and the overall price/value performance equation to be positive. Conclusion: The CITYSPORTS under desk treadmill with elevated handrails and LCD display is a portable exercise machine capable of supporting a healthy and cardiac supportive lifestyle. An overall product score of 5/5 is assigned accordingly.
Perfect Compact Size and Speeds For Up To 6'1", 240 Lbs. (4.5 Rating)
Arrived in good order and was packaged very well. It is quite heavy, so I strongly recommend having two people carry it to the room it will be setup in. But once it is out of the box, it is much easier to manage and can be moved around very easily for storing. This compact walking, jogging, and running pad combo has a powerful 1400W motor has that is rated to support up to 240 lbs. and has been working out very well with supporting my 185 lbs. weight. It operates quietly at a noise level under 60 decibels, and though it does get fairly noisy at the higher speeds, it is still very quiet compared to some others I have used in the past. It gives me real-time monitoring of time, speed, calories burned, and distance on an LCD display. Starting, stopping and adjusting speeds can be controlled very easily from the panel. The buttons on the panel are very user-friendly, and they even have three shortcut buttons for conveniently setting the speeds to walking (4.8KMh), speed walking/jogging (8KMh), and running (11KMh) settings. The panel is connected to two stable foldable handrail posts that lock in place firmly and are then unlockable to allow for easy storage after use. (The process to raise them, lock them in place, then unlock and fold them up after use is very straightforward.) The advertisement indicates that it can also be controlled with a remote, but there is no actual remote being included with this treadmill. There is, however, an option to use their app for connecting the treadmill to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth, turning on of those devices into a remote. I have not installed the app to test it out, but I did notice that you can control things with it and I believe you can even play music through the treadmill speakers once connected. (I watched a video that showed the connection instructions in Chinese and it looked as though they were playing music via the treadmill speakers.) The treadmill multi-layer anti-slip tread belt with shock absorption feature is the perfect length and width for my height of 6' (I would not recommend this for anyone taller than 6'). **And though another review indicates that it does not have an incline option, nor do they advise it, there is an option to set an angle by adjusting the height of the feet in the middle and font of the treadmill, exactly the same as my other treadmill that advertises the incline feature.**Being my second compact treadmill, this one is a big upgrade for me, offering me an additional 4 KM an hour in speed, handrails, a book, tablet, or phone stand, a safety auto-emergency sudden stop feature (a cover that magnetically attaches to the panel to hold a button down, which is on a string with a clip on the opposite end that I affix to my clothing), and the ability to stand it straight up for storing behind my bedroom door (the power cord detaches from the base completely so that it can be leaned up against the wall as shown in one of my photos). The additional storage option with this one is amazing since I do not have the ability to tuck it under my bed and was storing my other treadmill on it's side against the wall, which was not ideal for me.Using the treadmill at 9.5 KM an hour (jogging speed), the length and width of the pad leave me a bit of room for error with my 6' height, but not so much that I would suggest this unit for someone taller than 6', especially when planning to use it at the higher running speeds. My legs want to naturally apply a wider stride at the higher speeds, which is taking me time to train my body not to, but I do feel confident that I will eventually be able to safely get up to the max speed. At this time, still getting a feel for it, the 9.5 km an hour is more than enough for my 15-20 minute workout. While it does indicate shock-absorbing features in the advertisement, I am not clear on how this unit has shock-absorbing in the pad itself, but I do wear insoles that have shock-absorbing features, so maybe it's similar to that, just at a bit lesser scale. My experience where my knees are concerned has been good so far, and I do notice the padding working a bit, but not as much as my other treadmill with 6 shock-absorbing zones. Another thing I have noticed about this one is that it feels a bit more durable. My other treadmill is rated for 270 lbs, but this one seems tougher being rated for 240 lbs.Overall, I really like how well built and versatile this treadmill is; it is stable, durable, and offers me multiple speed settings for my workouts: walking, speed walking, jogging, and running (people with shorter legs will get the most out of the highest speed for running). Even without having actual shock-absorbing zones (only a cushioned pad), this treadmill has been working out pretty great for me. I am quite pleased with the quality, convenient storage options, and it's performance. For the fair price it is selling at, nearly the same as my 8-kilometer-an-hour treadmill with no handles or safety features, I give it a 4.5. I would have given it a 5 if it had a bit more length; an inch or two more length would make it much easier to adjust to.
Compact Fitness Revolution
As someone who values staying active even with a busy schedule, I recently ordered in the CITYSPORTS Walking Pad Foldable Treadmill. Here’s my detailed review of this compact and innovative fitness device.Design and Build Quality: 4.5/5The CITYSPORTS Walking Pad impresses with its sleek and modern design. It’s compact and foldable, making it perfect for small living spaces. The build quality is robust, with a sturdy frame that feels reliable during use. The treadmill’s surface is slightly narrow, which might be a consideration for those with a wider stride.Ease of Use: 4/5Setting up the walking pad is a breeze. It comes ready to use right out of the box, with no assembly required. The remote control is intuitive, allowing you to adjust the speed effortlessly. However, the treadmill is relatively heavy, which can make moving it around a bit challenging.Performance: 4/5The treadmill offers adjustable speed settings, ranging from a leisurely walk to a brisk pace, making it suitable for various fitness levels. The brushless motor ensures quiet operation, so you can use it without disturbing others. The shock absorption system is a great feature, providing a comfortable walking experience and reducing impact on your joints.Features: 4/5The multi-functional LED display is clear and easy to read, showing essential metrics like distance, time, speed, and calories burned. The built-in child lock and auto-shutoff feature after 10 minutes of inactivity add an extra layer of safety. However, the treadmill does not offer incline options, which might be a downside for those looking for more intense workouts.Portability and Storage: 4.5/5One of the standout features of the CITYSPORTS Walking Pad is its portability. Its foldable design allows it to be easily stored under a desk or bed when not in use. Despite its weight, the compact size makes it a convenient option for those with limited space.Pros:Sleek and compact designQuiet operation with a brushless motorEasy setup with no assembly requiredAdjustable speed settingsEffective shock absorption systemClear LED display with essential metricsSafety features like child lock and auto-shutoffCons:Slightly narrow walking surfaceRelatively heavy to move aroundNo incline optionsOverall Rating: 4.5/5In conclusion, the CITYSPORTS Walking Pad Foldable Treadmill is a fantastic addition to any home gym, especially for those with limited space. Its combination of sleek design, ease of use, and effective performance makes it a great investment for maintaining an active lifestyle. While there are a few minor drawbacks, the overall benefits and features of this treadmill make it a highly recommended choice for home exercise.
Compact treadmill
This is an excellent compact treadmill for small spaces. The handle i slow enough that you can still use it at a standing desk as long as yours goes high enough. The handle is 37inches from the floor so you'd need your desk to clear that but I think that's not unreasonable for most standing desks. The control panel would be covered but you can control the treadmill from the app. It was really easy to connect and use from my phone though pretty much the only controls in the app are a plus and minus button to speed up or slow down. I really like the auto speed buttons on the control panel that go 3, 5, and 7 mph respectively. It makes it so much easier to start a quick walk or jog. It's about as expected as far as noise goes, my feet hitting the belt are louder than the motor. When you connect your phone you can also play music out of the built in speakers which is interesting? The speakers are not very good quality but I can definitely see the benefit of having your music played out loud so you can still hear things around you, and also be able to control it right from your phone. The LED display shows your speed, workout time, calories and distance and cycles through as you go, but I really wish there was a way to only display one and just keep it on that one, though I can just bring up the app and see all of them at once. The app also has the choice of seeing distance in metric, the control panel itself doesn't even say what system it's using but figure it's in miles because it doesn't match the km's that shows in the app. It' folds down super flat, just as flat as my old one that doesn't have a handle, and it rolls easily when it's upright, though it pretty heavy getting it up. It's actually hard to store it under a bed or couch because it has to be angled up quite a bit to actually hit the wheels so I find it easier to just roll it over to a wall and lean it against the wall onto to wheel-less side of the motor end.One problem I had though is that when it arrived the cable that goes up the arm from the motor to the control panel was disconnected and I had to take the whole thing apart just to figure it out and fix it. It seems like a quality control issue like it just wasn't connected properly in the first place or accidentally got yanked out when rolling up the excess cable. If I was less handy I would have been really upset at receiving such a huge heavy item and then it doesn't work, and having to deal with returning it.Overall, it's really nice to have in a small space, very versatile and functional, though potentially lacking in the quality control department.
