Description:
At the close of the 1980's, fans of progressive rock were delighted and surprised to learn that former members of Yes, namely Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe were reuniting to record a studio album and to tour the world. The resulting self-titled studio album was originally issued on Arista Records in 1989 and was a global hit. This release was followed by hugely successful world tour. A concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California was captured both on video and in sound resulting in both a double CD and a long form video in 1993. The set features classic Yes material alongside live renditions of material from the ABWH self-titled album. This new remastered edition features the entire concert on two CDs, and also includes the full concert video on a region free DVD. Also included is an additional region free DVD, 'In the Big Dream', featuring promotional videos and interviews.

If you are a fan of Progressive Rock in general and YES in particular then this concert is for you. The standard of musicianship is just what you'd expect from messers Anderson, Wakeman, Bruford & Howe. Jon Anderson's intro is both very gentle and impressive but what it leads into is just something to behold. Rick Wakeman's solo piece will have your jaw hitting the floor, the guy is absolutely amazing. Steve Howe does his usual set pieces which for me are just OK because he plays the same tunes everytime. I got to see them just before Chris Squire passed and yes, you guessed it, Steve played his usual set. Bill Bruford's set is an adventurous one with a plethora of drums, gongs etc. My only complaint about this concert is that it keeps getting re-issued in exactly the same format, the only thing that changes is the artwork. I would love the owners of this concert to re-master it to at least Blu-Ray standard with minimum 5.1 surround audio track. Nevertheless, the current standard is worth having anyway. Not to be missed.
5.0 out of 5 stars Worth Having
If you are a true fan of Yes this is a CD you should have, there are elements i.e. electronic drums which make the sound a little dated however overall the set is well worth the entry fee.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes LIVE
I received this great two cd two dvd .
5.0 out of 5 stars Simply a must have for any Yes fan.
This is simply superb for any aging Yes fan to hear all the old classics performed live again by the lion share of the band. They still have what it takes. Shame Chris squire wasn’t there too.....may he RIP. What a set of innovative musicians they were and still are. I can’t recommend enough. Crank it up loud and it feels like you are there with them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Yet another Yes live album, with a few ABWH songs thrown in.
Not bad, if you like Yes and the ABWH album. But The studio versions on the original albums are better.

Was will das Yesherz mehr.....
Excellent...

2) manchino completamente i credits.
