It's a good idea but the setup seems a bit clunky for modern equipment. It's all wired without bluetooth and you need to have the physical DVDs to play, so unless you want to carry boxes of DVDs in the car it's a bit of a faff.However I decided to bring them indoors and test them out as portable indoor DVD players so that I could watch some of my old DVDs of films that are no longer available to stream online. The quality of the playback is pretty good and as long as you sit directly in front of the screen the picture is good and clear. The headphones supplied are not very comfortable and there's no facility to use ear-buds, but you can plug any headphones into the socket so using a better quality of headphones is an option. The controls are pretty intuitive and there's a remote control supplied (which I didn't really need) but could be good if you are using them in a vehicle and can't reach the actual screen controls.Plugging the device into a wall socket is ok, but unfortunately the wire is rather short so I needed an extension cable if I didn't want to sit right by the plug. So, equipped with an extension cable and a decent pair of headphones, I'm now looking forward to watching some DVDs in bed.Not using this for its original purpose but still managing to get some use out of it is great. However I don't think I would have been prepared to pay the price quoted which was just under £190. For something without bluetooth and with wires too short and uncomfortable plastic headphones I think this is rather expensive.

I have two boys and long car journeys are often the worst, I find this double screen works perfectly For themYou have a lot of options. You can hook up your phone. You can use it as a DVD player and there's others tooI usually put them on a multimedia device like USB stick and stick it straight in the screensIt works perfectly and goes in sync too. The headphones aren't the best quality but work just as well. You can probably use other headphones if you need to

Great entertainment system for road trips. The dual screens allow passengers to watch the same movie or different ones. The picture quality is clear, and the included headphones are a nice touch. Easy to install, and the HDMI function is a nice touch.

Not bad but not amazing but definitely wins on keeping the kids entertained on long trips.Setting up is very easy and each player can be independent of mirror one another, Whilst the units feel a bit plasticky the resolution and picture is fine for this sizes screen.You do need to be head on to view properly and the sound is ok, maybe a little tinny but it is a small speaker. This works far better with headphones (supplied) but found my own wired overhead ones were better.No issues with DVDs skipping while driving.I tried running movies via USB but the sound was out of sync with the pic on both units so I would stick to DVDs.4 stars for keeping my kids quiet for 5 hour drive.
