I’ve been shaving my head for years and a shaver/trimmer will get you a tight buzz cut even when they claim a zero cut on the blade. The razor shave, is the cleanest, but it’s a faff and no matter matter how meticulous I am I’m prone to a nick or two or you wonder how you missed that ‘bit’ later scenario! Let’s be honest it’s not like the commercials and ‘Zorro with the flashing blade’ giving you a clean cut with a single stroke!Straight out of the box, the Maxgroom tackled my head fuzz and I was amazed how easily it gave me a clean, smooth, bald head without the nicks and scratches I normally get from a wet shave. I’ve had a skull shaver before to address that little bit ( with my glasses on ) I’ve missed from my shave for in the car but that’s not even in the same league as this one.This one is almost therapeutic. I’ve even used it on my chicken neck with success but other than that there are limits to my manscaping!The Maxgroom offers two power levels and easy to use. Importantly giving a good close smooth shave. It of course comes with a charging lead and tidy travel bag.Cleaning is easier too. The whole head unit lifts off ( magnetic connectors ) and with a quick tap and a brush you are good to go.With the price of blades and shaving cream this head shaver alone is a winner, especially at this price point it’s well worth its inclusion in your travel kit.

I switched to this shaver after struggling with patchy results from my old electric razor, and it’s made a real difference in how my head looks. The seven flexible blades adjust to every contour, so I only need two passes per side to feel completely smooth. Charging via USB-C takes about 90 minutes and gives me over an hour of cordless run time—enough for several shaves before I plug it in again. The magnetic head detaches in a second for rinsing under the tap, and the ergonomic handle stays secure even when wet. Between the gentle gliding on my scalp and the clean finish, it’s become my daily grooming staple.

Really impressed with this. Blades move to the shape of your head! Independent of each other. Comes in a good looking storage box and has a cover for the blades.Was surprised how easy it was to remove the blades to clean inside. Uses magnets to hold it in place so was easy to pull apart.Very satisfying to use. Leaves you rather smooth on your head. Battery life seems good. Used it only once and still has 90% of charge left!

Only used it once so far. My wife just shaved my head a few minutes ago. Felt really good on the head and she had no problem using it. The two speeds are great. Still getting used to it as we used a Philips Series 5 rotary for trickier bits like behind the ears, but initial impressions are good and with the £10 voucher offer this was a bargain at just over £30.

First time using this, usually I use a clipper which can take up to 20 mins to bring it down to number 1, this was quite simple to use and it’s really as close as using a blade to shave my head!

Excellent Value & Smooth ShaveI’ve been using the MAXGROOM 7D Head Shaver for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed with how well it performs. The 7D floating heads contour nicely to my scalp and give a close, even shave without irritation. I use it both wet and dry, and it works great in the shower too.The LED display and USB-C charging are super convenient, and the battery life is solid—still going strong after several uses. Cleaning is easy with the detachable head, which is a big plus.It’s not quite as close as a razor blade, but for an electric shaver, it gets very close and saves me a lot of time. For the price, this is hands down one of the best grooming purchases I’ve made. Highly recommend for anyone keeping a bald look!
