The device is amazing, noticing a big difference in my skin. I just can’t source the cartridge replacements. Reduced forehead wrinkles massively. Ache scaring is taking its time but noticeable difference and over skin looks better.

I've never had micro needling done before but my friend has regular salon treatments and I have to say that her skin looks amazing. At first I was a little apprehensive about using the pen in case I did something wrong so I made sure I did a lot of research before I tried it out.I started off giving my face a good cleanse and a once over with an alcohol wipe and then I applied some numbing cream. When that had taken effect I removed that and applied hyaluronic acid serum and began with the pen. Depending on what area you are treating, it is recommended to amend the depth of the needles but I just used the lowest setting as I was a bit nervous. It was pretty much a pain free process and although my skin was left looking a little red, by the time I woke up in the morning it had gone.The pen is very easy to use, but make sure you read the instructions thoroughly first and I recommend you look up lots of tutorials too.It is recommended that you use the pen every 4 weeks so I haven't noticed a visibly difference just yet but I will be increasing the depth and also I'm going to try it on my neck and decolletage as I'm starting to see the signs of ageing in those areas.I'm so pleased I ordered it - having repeated salon treatments are really expensive but this is a much cheaper alternative and I think it's a great investment.

This product arrives packaged in a glamorous black box with gold writing emblazoned onto it. I’ve heard of Dr Pen before and was very curious to try this product out on that basis. The main unit is a solid metal pen like piece which has a USB-C charger on one end and a needle head side on the other. It feels like a solid unit with a bevel in the middle to control the needle length and a small LCD screen at the top which controls the speed of operation between various levels alongside the power button. When switched on, the unit basically vibrates its way to achieve its end goal in different operational modes. The set itself comes with 27 needles of an assorted (9 different types) nature, all designed with slightly different things in mind. Replacement needle sets (given their disposable nature) are readily available and reasonably priced here too. The concept of micro needling is to stimulate the skins natural healing functions whilst firming up the area and reducing the signs of aging. Conceptually this product certainly well delivers in this field and with clear operating instructions and an easy product to operate it has so far given effective results. These kind of treatments in a professional cost an arm and a leg so it’s certainly a product this attracts to the DIY style effectiveness levels at a much more affordable cost of almost 1 private treatment. I was certainly skeptical of any pain and discomfort from the start but this product has well and truly alleviated my concerns and I’m very pleased thus far with the end results on my skin.
