(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I have only just got this, but initial impressions are very positive, setup was a doddle, good connectivity with USB or Bluetooth, very similar app to my Laser Cutter, so easy to understand, plenty of functionality to keep me busy, as I got this machine while offered with a discount, and compared to other machines the price was a big selling point, especially as I’m not a serious user just like to tinker, make things for personal purposes, extensive file format compatibility, the software and the machine itself make use easy to, I haven’t really pushed the boundaries yet, but even watching it working is pleasing, the blade and pen fittings are simple, not fuss, the weight of the machine is quite heavy, so build quality should be good, not many fragile parts to break, a tad noisy compared to a printer, but don’t need earplugs, good clean lines, selection wheel is really responsive, good solid feel, while I have been impressed with the machine, I have found the LightGrip’ mat a little stronger than expected, so having options of ‘Standard’ and ‘Strong’ grip mats (not supplied) I might need more muscles and stronger materials, paying the card and paper on my tests, the mat was not keen to let go, ‘LightGrip’ isn’t too light, but I suppose I’ll get used to it, all things considered, 9/10, perfect for a novice with ambitious plans, glad I didn’t go for the entry level model, but the top level would be over doing it for my uses.

Bought for my son who wanted to print his own T’s. He’s extremely happy with it & very easy to set up as goes through a step by step guide. Software is easy too, and he was able to pull designs created on another app which he was very pleased about. Great piece of kit for the money.

The machine arrived promptly and after unpacking was easy to set up and put Design Space on phone and computer. It could have done with a more informative leaflet on calibrating, otherwise excellent product

So apparently cricut machines especially the Explorer series have a big problem called "red light of doom" where randomly one day you need to use the machine but it has a solid red light and is completely unresponsive. You can do absolutely nothing to solve it, regardless of cricuts statement on changing power cords. It's a common issue that as far as I have seen anyone with one of these has. Dont get me wrong the machine is awesome but completely useless if it bombs out this way for you-which is extremely likely. I'm not no way to resolve this and oh yea surprise surprise cricut themselves are NO help either-unless you want to buy another cord from them for a obscene amount-try it only after having waited ages to get it just to find its a mother board issue and not the cord like everyone else has done.

Item came without exterior packaging. Opened it up and found the 3 pin plug they sent, does not fit the machine at all. Bolo were useless at helping solve the problem. Ended up sending machine back. Don't buy from this seller.

En diciembre de 2024 decidí regalarle a mi novia una máquina CRICUT por Navidad para que se pudiese iniciar en el mundo de las manualidades.Al principio, no sabía cuál comprar. Creo que la información que aparece en la web no es muy clara sobre las diferencias entre los diferentes modelos.Mi idea era comprarle una CRICUT con la que pudiese comenzar a hacer sus primeros diseños y que además, fuese versátil permitiendole hacer proyectos de diferentes tamaños y sobre gran variedad de materiales.Finalmente, me decidí por el modelo EXPLORE AIR 2 (Limited Edition 2024) por los siguientes motivos:- Los modelos JOY los consideraba demasiado limitados (pues no pueden elaborar diseños muy grandes) y sólo se pueden usar con unos 100 materiales (creo recordar). Los descarté, y decidí buscar opciones "con vistas a futuro".- La serie MARKER presenta las mejores prestaciones (en potencia, grabado y en listado de materiales compatibles). Sin embargo, los precios no bajaban de los 400 euros.- Los modelos EXPLORE presentan un diseño similar a los modelos MARKER (por lo que pueden hacer diseños con el mismo ancho) y se pueden usar con hasta 300 materiales diferentes (creo recordar). De esta forma decidí regalarle una Cricut Explore.En aquel momento, existían dos versiones de EXPLORE que podían ser interesantes: la EXPLORE 3 y la EXPLORE AIR 2 (versión 2024).La única diferencia entre ambas es que la EXPLORE 3 puede trabajar un conjunto de materiales rígidos sin tapete de corte (son los conocidos como, SMART MATERIALS). Para el resto de materiales, deberá usar siempre tapete de corte.En cambio, la EXPLORE AIR 2 debe usar SIEMPRE tapete de corte, tanto si usa un SMART MATERIALS como cualquier otro.En aquel momento, la EXPLORE 3 era casi 100 euros más cara que la EXPLORE AIR 2, por lo que decidí este último modelo. La NO obligación de usar el tapete de corte para determinados materiales no justificaba la diferencia en precio. El resto de prestaciones eran las mismas para ambos modelos.Es menester aclarar que estas máquinas tienen una gran curva de aprendizaje. No es el habitual producto que compras y ya sabes usarlo a la perfección. Mi novia, durante estos meses, ha ido aprendiendo a usarla viendo videos tutoriales en las redes sociales e investigando en internet.Muchos proyectos requieren de accesorios o máquinas adicionales (prensa térmica para textil, prensa térmica para tazas, impresora de sublimación, cuchillas, espátulas, alfombrillas de corte, bolígrafos, ...) que se van adquiriendo poco a poco.El producto en sí, cumple con todo lo que promete en la descripción: corta, dibuja, marca... en una gran variedad de materiales.Te recomiendo la compra de la EXPLORE AIR 2 (versión 2024) si es mucho más barata que la EXPLORE 3 o EXPLORE 4. En cambio, si la diferencia es mínima, te recomiendo comprar la Explore 3/4.NOTA.
