These tiny folic acid tablets have honestly been a bit of a lifesaver in our house. My wifeâs been taking them as part of her pregnancy routine (weâve got a little one already and another on the way â gluttons for punishment, I know), and this was an easy way to make sure sheâs covered on the B9 front without having to neck a bucket of spinach daily.They're teeny-tiny, so no drama swallowing them â which is a big deal if you're already dealing with pregnancy queasiness. Vegan-friendly too, which ticks a box for us. No funky aftertaste, no upset stomach, and the fact there are 400 tablets means I don't have to remember to reorder anything for what feels like forever. A folic acid dose has been a vital part of my daily supplements for a couple of years now, so I am always on the lookout for a good deal on a bottle of tablets. This one from Alpha Foods is great value for money - a year's supply for less than ÂŁ10 is terrific.The size of the tablets (tiny) means that swallowing them is a doddle. There is no (after)taste or odour.The dosage is generous, more than enough for the average requirements. I liked that they are vegan, with no unusual additives.It is difficult to establish effectiveness, however if you are on a pregnancy journey you can have the comfort knowing you are doing what you can to best prepare your body.As with all supplements, always checks with a qualified professional before starting a course of something like this, paying particular attention to the dosage amounts.
