I think the photo overemphasised the problem, but is IS a problem. They are quite small. The pipe is just a bit too narrow, and I have medium hands. They aren't unstable, but they are more of a beginners tool They hurt my hands, and I don't have confidence to really push out the last reps. If I had seen them first, I would have looked for a more substantial set, no doubt at twice the price.

Ok for the price.The bar padding is too thin. By 10 push ups it's getting uncomfortable shall we say...Will hold up well enough for the designated use but not sure how well they'd take a knock/kickI'll be looking at ways to add some more padding and make it slightly more comfortable
