After a great experience using the Insta Ace Pro 1 on a skiing trip, I decided to upgrade to the Insta Ace Pro 2 for my action cam setup.Successors aren’t always guaranteed to be better, but in this case, Insta has put a lot of effort into refining the Ace Pro 2. The improvements are noticeable and make a real difference in performance.Here’s what stands out the most:Improved Microphone: The newly redesigned mic captures ambient sounds with much better clarity. While the changes may seem subtle, they become evident when playing back footage at higher volumes.Enhanced Low-Light Performance: I often ride in dim lighting conditions, and while the Ace Pro 1 already delivered good footage, the Ace Pro 2 performs exceptionally well in low-light settings, including dusk. This could be due to the built-in AI or upgraded software enhancements. It is amazing what you can achieve with these little action cameras. I was a big fan of the Insta360 ONE R/RS range and used a BackBone conversion which allowed me to use vintage lenses to achieve an almost analogue cinematic look. When I bought an Ace Pro, I was blown away by the low-light footage I was getting, and used to soften my footage using a Black Mist filter on the camera and then reworking it in post to soften it even further.When I saw that the Ace Pro 2 could shoot in I-Log, I didn’t hesitate to buy one. Of course there were more upgrades such as adding timecode, additional sensors etc. but this was the upgrade that spoke to me. I do love to colour grade and being able to shoot in this flat profile allows me much more control in post-production than previous profiles.Last week I was shooting in London with my DSLR and had the Ace Pro 2 mounted on the cold shoe on top of my camera. Not only was I able to get some B-Roll of my actual shoot but it also captured some cracking stills, which I took using voice control.Of course, straight out of the box and using auto settings, the results are fantastic but push it a little further and this little camera punches way above its weight – highly, highly recommended!!

The camera is a great upgrade from my existing GoPros and the new beautifully made "cage" adds many features, protection and gives an easy way to press the record button and hold the camera for walking around. It's great!

Absolutely the worst camera i have ever purchased! 3 months old, its Faulty and I have fight for a replacement! Tank god for Credit Card Section 75Some of the issues.45o Horizon randomly locks at about 30o off level (left or right) and I have remove the battery to resolve it. 360o Horizon locks at about 30o off level, and will drift as recording and again I have remove the battery to resolve it. Camera settings are randomly lost and/or changed . The camera randomly freezes with just a blue or red light. Violent shaking occurs when using low light setting when stabilisation is on or of, and will often start in the middle of a clip. (4K at 25fps) The rear screen becomes stuck upside down, only removing the battery resolves the issue.

Selfie Stick - Revised

Just found out that this camera only works with their own remote. Can't connect a generic selfie stick bluetooth to trip the shutter. This should be made clear on the product advertising. Very impressed with the rest of the tech and build quality but i think many people will be put off by this.After consulting with their customer service they were very accommodating and sent me one of their Power Selfie sticks and mount free of charge so I could use it the way I intended. The extra battery life in the stick is a bonus. I'm very happy now with the experience of using the camera; there are a lot of features and the overall image and audio quality is very good. I think the larger image sensor and quality optics make a big difference; I was pleased with the results of indoor lighting at a sporting event

Tolle Kamera mit super Mikrofon, top Leistung bei schwachem Licht und Weitwinkel

Erst mal viele Dank an Bolo für die wie immer schnelle Lieferung.Ich bin häufiger mit 2 Rädern unterwegs, auf dem Fahrrad wie auch mit dem Motorrad.Für das Motorrad-Setup habe ich nach einer traditionellen Action Cam gesucht und mir schlussendlich, nach meinen guten Erfahrungen mit der Insta Ace Pro 1 im Skiurlaub, nun die Ace Pro 2 fürs Motorrad besorgt.Nicht immer sind Nachfolger auch automatisch besser, aber in diesem Fall, hat Insta viel Feintuning in den Nachfolger investiert.Was man deutlich merkt:- Das Mikrofon wurde überarbeitet und nimmt nun die Umgebungsgeräusche in einer viel besseren Qualität auf. Es sind Nuancen, aber beim Abspielen mit hoher Lautstärke deutlich wahr zu nehmen.- Ich fahre häufiger bei schwachem Licht. Die Ace Pro 1 hat bereits gute Aufnahmen hinbekommen, aber die Ace Pro 2 kann in der Dämmerung oder auch bei noch weniger Licht erstaunlich gute Aufnahmen machen. Vielleicht liegt das an der eingebauten KI oder den softwareseitig erweiterten App-Features. Bisher habe ich noch keine besseren Aufnahmen gesehen und für mich ganz klar die Beste Cam in dem Bereich.- Die Leica Farbprofile sind kräftig und kontrastreich. Damit lassen sich Aufnahmen super aufwerten.- Der Weitwinkel hat den Namen Weitwinkel wirklich verdient, was man damit alles drauf bekommt, toll.Aktuell für mich als Motorradfahrer sicherlich eine sehr gute, wenn nicht sogar die Beste traditionelle Action Cam auf dem Markt.Also von mir zwei Daumen hoch - Der Kauf hat sich gelohnt!

Ottimo prodotto. Arrivato nei tempi previsti. Funziona molto bene ma, essendo piuttosto piccolo, si maneggia con molta difficoltà. Ho acquistato pertanto un involucro protettivo ad hoc con il quale è possibile utilizzare molto meglio la videocamera. Unico problema con l'involucro protettivo è che devo smontarlo se devo sostituire la batteria.
