They would easily fit double the dose. Great that they’re transparent so you can gauge the level you’ve filled them at.

I've used these by crushing my pet's tablets and adding the powder inside of them, they're so much better than buying these pocket things, I just push the pill into food, and they eat it all up including medicine.Best thing ever, get smaller size for cat's.

Empty capsules are widely available, but to find some this small is actually pretty rare, so I'm interested to try them out. They're great for making up your own combined doses of vitamins or pre-and-pro-biotics, though I’m sure entry have many other uses.The reason I'm interested in these at this scale is that I’ll be using them a bit off-purpose, to enable me to half the dose of a tablet I take which needs to reach the stomach intact (they don’t make a smaller dose of the tablet, and the tablet is pre-scored, meaning that the contents are evenly spread within the tablet, so the tablet will deliver two equal measures of the active contents if cut in half along the score). Having checked that these empty HPMC tablets make it to the stomach before breaking down, I know I can half my tablets and place one of the halves inside a HPMC capsule, then swallow the capsule which will then ensure that the contents make it to my upper intestine before they begin to break down. I've tried this in the past but with much larger 00 size tablets, which I found a little hard to swallow. The tablet I'm breaking in half is actually tiny, so I could theoretically use a much smaller capsule to contain it...and here I found a Size 5, which is just 11mm long and 5mm wide. Perfect.Although they’re meant for automated processing machines, they’re easy to handle yourself, if a wee bit fiddly at this scale. You just have to be sure you press the two halves back together properly.It is worth noting that these capsules are gelatin, and so not suitable for vegans or vegetarians, as they're manufactured from medical-grade bovine gelatin with no other product additives. They are however gluten free, preservative free and non-GMO.A useful addition to the medicine cabinet, and it’s nice to be able to get hold of them at a reasonable price.

We got these to try and make our own capsules filled with Psyllium Husk Powder, a fibre additive, that is somewhat difficult to drink as a gel on it's own.Unfortunately these are very small capsules and not really big enough for the amount I'd need to take. However, they are very easy to take as capsule. They are smooth and go down well with a small amount of water.They come with little spoon tools to help fill them, but the size of the capsules are tiny and you will find it very time consuming doing it manually.The capsules come part and go back together easily enough, but manage to stay together once filled.

Yo las probé para darle un suplemento a mi perrito, que es un poco cabezota para tragarse pastillas. Lo rellené con el polvo del medicamento y sin broncas se las tomó.Lo mejor es que son de gelatina, así que no hay que preocuparse de que sean tóxicas o duras, se disuelven rápido y eso evita peleas al darles la medicina.

Mein Sohn kann keine großen Kapseln schlucken und der Pulverinhalt hat auch in die kleinen Kapseln gepasst. So hab ich mit ein bisschen „Fummelei“ die Kapseln umgefüllt. Jetzt klappt auch das Kapseln einnehmen einwandfrei. Leider gibts das Medikament nur in Kapselform, deshalb hab ich mir so Abhilfe geschaffen

Love these little gelatin capsules to give my cat his meds in. One capsule holds his night time meds perfectly and they are easy for him to swallow.
