Why did you choose this product over others?:Tried this at a recent get-together and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The packaging is eye catching and the chip itself comes sealed in foil, keeping it fresh and potent. You can smell the intense heat the moment it is opened. The chip is black in colour and absolutely packed with Carolina Reaper powder, so it does not hold back on spice.We split the single chip between a group of us and even the smallest pieces hit hard. The heat builds gradually, which makes it deceptively tolerable at first before it kicks in with serious intensity. One person who had two pieces ended up with hiccups, and we had a two minute no-milk rule to make things more entertaining. It was great fun and got everyone talking, but it is very expensive considering you only get a single chip.With all the health warnings on the packet, it is definitely one for those who enjoy pushing their limits. Makes for a good novelty challenge or party ice breaker but not something you’d want to do often. Four stars purely because of the price versus quantity.

It is what it is. A blooming hot crisp. The only crisp in my history whereby the thought of actually driving to the hospital entered my head. Luckily there was plenty of milk in the fridge which helped dramatically. Too hot for me and i never want to eat hot food again.

Was ok,did a challenge with a mate,he wasn't up with spicy food and it affected him lol,but for me was rather tame on heat.

This is very, very hot and would make a fun gift or party game. It isn't that sort of absurd heat that can only be achieved from concentrated extracts. It's made from an actual very hot chilli pepper, which to me is preferable because it is more real and tastes less terrible. This same brand makes a chocolate challenge that is made using an extract that is to me 10x more unbearable than this and just not fun. This is the right level of heat and flavour for this sort of fun challenge. It comes well sealed in a pouch and is clearly labelled with ingredients and warnings. The crisp itself is a hexagonal tortilla thick with black seasoning. Quite intimidating looking. It's good fun, and very got. Good quality product.

Having done the Hot Ones hot sauce challenge recently I can definitively say this is less hot than Da Bomb Insanity, also less hot than God Slayer and Mad Dog 357. I never got to try the Paqui One Chip Challenge before they withdrew all their product as a result of a teens death. I am guessing all these new “Hot Chip Challenge” companies have stepped in to fill a void, but toned down the spice to avoid any similar situations.The presentation of the chip has a very 2000's graphics feel to it, and the chip itself is covered in black food dye to give the impression of “Very Hot!” but the expectation falls a bit flat once consumed.I am NOT in any way saying this isn't hot... it is! It is very hot. If you are not used to super hot spice it will knock you sideways, and the whole experience is fun, but it is a bit short of hottest in the world.
