Looked forward to using this. Brilliant bit of kit, straight slices, only problem is that the thin slices tend to be medium.A bit to big on the wide size too, could have been narrower say 5.25" as opposed to 6.0". Home made bread at just over 5". Need a longer bread knife of 10"+ to make it easier to cut using a sawing action, letting the blade do the work. Crumb collection works well.

Takes a bit of getting used to. Does have different sized slots for different thicknesses of bread slices. And does collect crumbs quite well. Good for the price.

An interesting idea but a very poor quality product - apparently no QC at all. The guide "fingers" were assembled incorrectly so that the cutting slots / slice thickness did not match. There is no way to change this. Given the very low cost of the product I chose not to waste time sending it back - it was discarded. I cannot recommend this item.

Potentially a well made useful piece of equipment - sadly mine was assembled wrongly and the wide slots lined up with the narrow slots on the other side so not any use at all. Have returned for a refund. Shame.

Item seemed to be well made, not a bad price, BUT unfortunately the base was too wide for my bread and the guides each side were not tall enough for my loaves, so my knife waved around till it got a purchase on my bread. Also there were no pads on the tray so had to place tray on a tea-towel to stop it moving about.

15/10 beast thing I’ve ever bought ,the wife is making her own g,free bread I would make a mess cutting her bread, now she can toast the bread .
