(This has saved my sanity, I have been using sewing machines for last 20 years!) I have recently sent back a brother sewing machine ..threads kept breaking, would not even sew, no matter what tension it was on! Really horrible to use.So reluctantly I bought this one hoping it would be ok and it really is! Works like a dream from get go! I have read a lot of bad reviews about Janome machines but this one is quieter than my old Frister & Rossman,sews well,easy to thread and no issues with foot pedal or plug which is UK 3 prong not USA 2 prong which some people have had. Very pleased with this and highly recommend the machine

I have a very old one that is heavy and sturdy. this one works in exactly the same way but much lighter, it feels a much cheaper product but works very well

I've not been able to use it yet the needle broke when I started to use it. And I've not been able to do it yet.allso the box was damaged when it arrived.and it isn't sawing right it just makes a mess and leaves the cotton in a mess at the back of the materiel.im not happy at all.

This was for my granddaughter as a first machine. I have Janome, so was pleased to get another basic one. Very good machine, excellent for a beginner, should last. I've had my basic one 23 years.
