After weeks of researching, I was so excited about receiving this product to work with just a USB - C to my MacBook Air M2! However, received monitor, set it up, work straight away although no BENQ display settings appeared on my MacBook; second time of using and now doesn’t detect the MacBook and keeps turning off! Rang BENQ customer services but that was also a waste of time as he didn’t have a clue! Disappointingly will have to return!!

FYI. I didn't buy mine on Bolo as these seem to be a bit like unicorn dust and was out of stock at the time.This really is an impressive monitor, with very good build quality. The hight/orientation adjustments are lovely & smooth, the dual USB-C ports on the rear are great and I use one to connect to my Mac Mini rather than an HDMI. The screen/colours/brightness are all as other online reviews have described - very good. Speakers are certainly decent enough unless you're an audiophile.It has a really clean bezel, with no obnoxious branding like Dell and other manufacturers have, in your face constantly screaming at you.Although a 32" 4K screen, I just couldn't run it at 4K, the OSX UI is just too small, which I guess is why Apple run the UI at 50% on their own 6K display using 3008 x 1692, which was also the clearest resolution I felt this monitor ran at with a usable UI.The Mac OS integration which was a major reason this was on my list, works, sort-of."Display Pilot 2" is the OSX integration software downloadable from BenQ. Not sure why it is 500Mb but there we are.The auto-brightness is sadly pretty poor and obviously far too sensitive and causes perceptible flickering as it constantly adjusts the brightness. It also resets the base brightness level when the Mac wakes from sleep, which means you need to adjust it every time - both are very annoying, and made it unusable for me.The monitor takes a few seconds to wake, and there is no auto-dimming feature like on native Macs which dims the screen by 50% before power off, so aggressive energy saving settings are frustrating if you don't touch the mouse/keyboard when reading something.It also obviously can't detect the Mac is in sleep mode as it pops up an silly "USB-C Source Not Found" message.The keyboard integration does work for both brightness & sound, but for some reason they use their own looky-likey version of the OSX UI rather than native, which steals focus from whatever your working with, which again is super annoying.All in all, whilst it sort of works, Display Pilot 2 isn't that great, doesn't feel very well thought out, and isn't the slick OSX integration I'd hoped for. I'm going to investigate 3rd party apps like Lunar to see if I can just dump Display Pilot altogether.It's certainly a lovely monitor and aside from their flawed OSX integration, I'm very happy with it.

Es un buen monitor para complementar los colores que maneja Apple. Lo utilizo principalmente para edición y animación de video. Tomando eso en cuenta esto puedo decir que respeta fielmente los colores de salida al momento de hacer correcciones de color para mis contenidos. Viene muy bien empacado y el tamaño es compacto para colocarlo en la mayoría de escritorios. Se adapta también a mi brazo hidráulico por lo cual no lo utilizo con la base de metal que viene incluida. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para usuarios de equipos Apple.
