By temporarily I mean for the next 4-5 years. I purchased these for my last van also, and when it came to remove them, the adhesive part was very hard to get off without special adhesive remover, the foam inbetween the adhesive gave way before the sticky bits did.I wouldn't recommend sticking these to surfaces that could be damaged by removal, but things like unpainted metals, hard plastics etc are fine, but I wouldn't use them on surfaces like painted walls, furniture, and any delicate items unless I never plan on removing them.So, very strong hold, decent strength to the foam, especially when you use multiple pads to fix an item to something.Very much worth the money.

Not heavy duty at all. Used to stick a hook on the door. It lasted only few days and fell off under the weight of a coat. Absolute waste of money.

I bought these to hold the silver insulation to the wall behind my radiators. Worked a treat, strong and easy to use, loads left over and I believe they would be strong enough to hold a picture up on a wall but I just haven't got the nerve to do this, that's just me.XXX UPDATE XXXAfter a week everyone of these that I have used have failed, I originally gave 5 stars but now altered to 1. Seemed hood and strong at first but after this first week all the stickiness has gone, not a very good product at all.I will be asking for a full refund.
