This is NOT a flimsy piece of kit. Oh, and it works well with an iPad and iMac. The original formatting is EXFAT, but I guess you can try formatting in whatever format bloats your goat, butters your biscuit, creams your soda, mows your lawn, humps your camel, floats your boat, rings your bell, blows your kilt up, lights your fire, flicks your switch, tickles your pickle, flies your flag, or blows your trumpet.

I am very satisfied, It has a large storage capacity, making it easy to store various types of data. What I love is that it offers both USB and USB-C connections, making it very practical and flexible for use with different devices. Its performance is outstanding works seamlessly without any issues. The read and write speed is impressive as well. Its compact design is highly convenient, making it easy to carry anywhere. Highly recommended!"

Cost, size, quality, speedy, this product doesn't disappoint but the one issue I have come across is the connector's are covered by flaps that open at 90 degrees, these flaps can cause clearence issues if the usb socket your trying to use is to close to another socket or device and i havent found away of removing the protective flaps.

Gets warm when used for prolonged periods and the flap is uncomfortable to put in some USB slots or hold the phone when connected, but aside from this, it does the job perfectly. So far I have not had any issues with the drive for the months I have used it.

Very solid and heavy device for its size, feels great. I'm transferring 250gb of various files across now and it's taken about an hour and a half. Good stuff

My first FF911 purchased on 18th October 2024 slightly exceeded the manufacturer's performance claim and all was well for a while until a distinct slowdown when adding around 40GB of data to 382GB of free space. Transfer speed often dropped to zero for several seconds before increasing, although it took close to 40 minutes to transfer 40GB. I should have returned the item at that point but gave it a second chance and copied my data to a hard drive before reformatting the FF911. Performance was restored but a few weeks later when I had added more data the drive became very slow and CrystalDiskInfo showed that there were no available valid blocks. I lost 95% of my data this time.The manufacturer sent me a replacement unit on 16th January 2025 which has recently failed at 73% capacity with the same error as the first. Various utilities including CHKDSK pronounced it healthy, as did a quick scan with HD Tune Pro 6. A full scan with the latter revealed 17 individual bad blocks before condemning the rest of the drive. Once again most of my data can't be recovered.A request on 21st March 2025 for a full refund has so far only elicited a reply with instructions to perform a low level format. Having lost most of my data twice I'm unwilling to risk it a third time.
